Huge rocks crashed onto the open roof of the arena, smashing the centuries-old structure to pieces in an instant, much like a piece of soft tofu.

The boulder shattered into hundreds of pieces of varying sizes, and one boulder, large enough to bury more than a dozen people alive, landed squarely on Arthur.

Li Aili heard a muffled 'bang,' like a hammer slamming into flesh and bone on a chopping board.

Li Aili shuddered, her heart pounding with a soreness.

The Duke noticed her reaction and gently patted her back reassuringly.

Suddenly, a scream rang out all around, and then silence.

The passing of life is far easier than Li Aili imagined.

Li Aili will always remember that banquet table at the Kremlin... It went from being packed to being empty, leaving only a lonely table, in less than a year.

Li Aili felt her heart breaking just watching all this.

The constant passing of Zhuo Er around her reminded Li Aili of this past that she most wanted to forget, yet could not forget.

She looked up at the two evil gods who were locked in a fierce fight.

The Duke's blue eyes turned blood red, slowly sinking into the shadows beneath his feet.

The two were completely enveloped in shadow.

When her body was completely submerged in shadow, all Li Aili could see was pure blackness.

Unlike the moonlit nights, here you can't see anything even if you open your eyes wide.

Because this place is an abyss, an abyss without a single ray of light.

Arthur hugged Ellie even tighter.

“This is the abyss,” Arthur said, speaking in a slightly rapid voice.

Clearly, the five-headed dragon god had grand ambitions, sealing off the space around Quesang.
