This is a fantasy world where angels and demons dance together, elves and dwarves play mahjong, and every imperial royal family member has a dragon.
In the Campbell black market, there is an ...
Potions are limited, and not every thief can get their hands on expensive alchemical potions.
Those who didn't get any could only use the healing holy water from the Temple of Light as a makeshift solution.
So the thieves drank the holy water that the Church of Light had been trying to buy, all while cursing and swearing.
"Damn it! These unscrupulous merchants, ugh, they're diluting the holy water with water again!"
"The recovery speed is incredibly slow..."
"I estimate the injury won't heal until tomorrow morning."
These people looked on with envy at the thief who had snatched the 'alchemy potion'.
"Hey, are you all healed?"
"This pumpkin is just one breath away from dying. If you've recovered from your injuries, go and kill it now!"
The thief who had stolen the 'alchemy potion' fell into an eerie silence.
Baphi coughed suddenly, interrupting the injured people's 'exchange of information about their injuries,' "Cough cough!"
Everyone looked at him.
Baphi swallowed a mouthful of blood, and after a moment of contemplation, said, "To be on the safe side, we'll have the final battle tomorrow morning!"
"Now, take a break!"
Back inside the city gate, Li Aili was finally able to straighten her back; she had been hiding behind the bushes watching the show.
It takes several hours to watch.
It's almost lunchtime.
It made her back ache.
"Okay, that's settled. Just keep an eye on them and make sure they don't cause any trouble."
After saying that, Li Aili took Arthur back to eat.
In the evening, the knights tacitly went to Captain Ben Karsa's house to drink away their sorrows.
Valen, who had just finished his shift, knocked on the door of Captain Karsa's house.
“It’s me, Valen.”
When Ben Karsa’s wife, Sofia, opened the door, she saw Valen with a gloomy face.
This is the seventh one today.
Sophia simply couldn't understand the 'friendship' that the knight had built with the pumpkin.
"Let's go to the living room, they're all there."
As Valen walked into the living room, Knight Patrick turned his head away and quietly wiped away his tears.
As soon as Valen entered, his companion, whose eyes were red with tears, shoved a jug of wine into his hand.
Without a word, the knights simply gathered silently around the fireplace, drinking their sorrows away.
Outside the door, Valen's wife, Rhea, asked her sister with a bewildered look, "What's wrong with them?"
Sofia, holding her pet dog, stared blankly at the knights who seemed to be holding a funeral.
"It's probably a tribute to that pumpkin outside the city."
Rhea was even more confused. "Doesn't that pumpkin always beat them up?"
Sofia: "I guess we've developed feelings for each other after beating each other up."
"Ignore them, they might be up all night."
"Let's go upstairs and rest."
After saying that, Sofia took the lead and went up the stairs.
In the living room, Valen broke the silence first.
"Do you remember how it treated us when we first started our duties?"
One of the Golden Knights raised his glass and clinked it with Vice Captain Valen's. "Back then, Guagua was really tough on us."
“He often throws me 10 meters away.”
Another knight raised his wine flask and took a swig of wine. "But later, he became familiar with us, even when we ran into the pumpkin patch to pick people up."
"It won't attack us."
"right!"
"Guagua has feelings! He considers us his companions!"
At this point, the living room fell silent again.
The knights poured themselves more and more wine, and soon the ground was covered with empty bottles.
"Vice Captain, are we just going to watch Guagua die... hiccup...?" A knight staggered to his feet.
Valen slurred, "No!"
"Knighthood, virtues..." Valen counted on his fingers, "humility, honor, sacrifice, valor, compassion, spirit, honesty, justice..."
"Behind justice lies... we cannot abandon the pumpkin!"
All knights: "Yes!!"
This shout woke up the two ladies who were resting upstairs.
With a 'clatter,' the ill-tempered Rhea smashed the cup on the bedside table.
"Can't a person get any sleep?!" The sisters' angry roars could be faintly heard from the wooden ceiling.
The knights, fearing their wives, shushed each other.
“Yes, we can’t abandon the pumpkin! We must save him, it’s a chivalrous virtue!” they whispered.
Valen's mind was completely blank. "Okay, then let's vote by raising our hands. Those who agree to save Pumpkin, raise your hands."
With a whoosh, hands were raised, and a few who were quite drunk tried to lift their feet as well.
Valen began counting hands.
After counting, there were eight people in the room, including him, but he managed to count 21 hands.
"Unanimously approved."
Warren stood up. "We need a plan!"
The knights huddled together, "Let's do this..."
After listening, the knights all gave Valen a thumbs up.
The knights left Captain Ben Karsa's house without any prior arrangement.
...
The next day, early in the morning.
A thief, yawning, found a deserted tree and relieved himself.
As soon as he found the tree, he looked up and yawned, and then he saw a giant pumpkin that blocked out the sky at the other end of the canopy.
The trees are still trees, and the forest is still a forest, but this is terrible! Overnight, the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch have grown even bigger!!
One-fifth of the pumpkin has already pierced through the clouds...
What on earth is this thing?!
The thief rubbed his eyes vigorously with both hands.
When I opened my eyes again, the scene not far away was still the same.
A pumpkin that was at least a hundred meters tall—the scene was so thrilling that it scared the thieves half to death.
"Aaaaaaahh ...
"My God, the God of Darkness!!!"
