Lin Da, a former professional gamer, arrives in the game [Secret Realm Continent] and forms a team with several ladies from another world. Their goal is to clear fifty floors of the secret realm an...
Having made a wasted trip, McCarty looked at Linda with a hint of anger in her eyes, stood up and walked towards the door, saying without turning her head:
"If you refuse now, even if you change your mind later, the adult will not take you in. She never invites the same person twice."
Linda smiled but did not answer.
This attitude was the complete opposite of someone else's. McCarty felt like he was punching cotton, unable to exert any force.
The black-clad man had empty eyes and was sparing with words, while the one in front of him only smiled faintly, and it was impossible to tell what was going on in his head.
“[Eye of Truth] Linda, I hope you can enter the Ice Abyss soon.” McCarty thought to herself with a fierce determination.
…
"Finally, some peace and quiet."
After McCarty left, Linda sat on the sofa and had Tasia massage her shoulders to relax her body.
He was originally looking forward to a ten-star rating, but Leng Yue Gong's conditions were too many.
"Nine stars it is, at least it's better than being a dog. Judging from Lord Leng Yue's personal storyline, it's too dangerous for him to stay by that kind of woman's side."
Currently, Leng Yue Gong's gacha pool hasn't been released yet, but Linda has used him in other playthroughs.
In short, she appears to be a very calm woman, but she's actually a madwoman who would even dare to behead the king if she disagrees with someone.
Without any affinity bonuses in this playthrough, Linda and Lengyue are complete strangers, and it would be too dangerous to approach them rashly.
It's safer to just climb the tree honestly.
"I wonder if there's any news about the recruitment of light-element mages. And what about the materials I commissioned Guild Master Velen to collect?"
After lunch, Linda took Tasia and drove the carriage to the Adventurers' Guild.
As I was leaving the residential area, I saw a small stall on the street with the words "Magic Divination" hanging on it.
The stall was packed with customers, some of whom exclaimed, "It's so effective!" and raved about it.
Are con artists popular in other worlds too?
Linda chuckled.
He withdrew his gaze, flicked the reins, and sped off towards the Adventurers' Guild.
Inside the reception room.
Nora, the secretary, dressed in a black pencil skirt, respectfully placed a cup of black tea on Linda's desk.
Viren sat across the table, a hint of joy on his face, and said, "All the materials you asked for, except for the Crimson Flame Glazed Stone, have been collected."
A flash of light appeared on the ring, and a dozen or so materials, which had been stored in a crystal box, appeared neatly on the table.
Blue flowers radiating cold air, strangely shaped tree roots, a level 40 ice-type magic core, and silver liquid that seems to possess life.
These items are not too rare on their own, but collecting them all takes a lot of effort.
Using the Adventurers' Guild's channels to collect information was definitely the right thing to do.
