Chapter 486 Leah's Lover?! (No Green)

Judging from the theory of evolution of the great sage Davin, Leah is a female who is not suited to survive and will be eliminated by nature.

Thinking of this, Eiko's brows relaxed.

"So where are you taking me? There's no one here anymore, can you tell me now?"

In the second-floor corridor, only moonlight shone in from the windows.

Linda looked at what was in front of her with some awkwardness.

A red-haired girl, several heads shorter than him and wearing a formal dress, grabbed his hand and pulled him forward.

Although it wasn't the kind of hand-holding he had with Monica or Lulu, but rather a simple urging for him to walk faster, the softness and warmth of the girl's hand felt incredibly real, no less than any other woman he had ever been with.

During the three years that Xueyan lived there, Linda had never held Liya's hand. Her current actions were probably due to Liya being drunk, but realizing that the two of them were holding hands was undoubtedly somewhat awkward.

Linda coughed lightly and moved her hand to remind Leah.

Leah seemed genuinely drunk, completely oblivious, and simply pulled him along, holding his hand.

Linda thought Leah's actions were unintentional, but little did she know that Leah's face was as red as a ripe apple in an orchard, whether it was from the beer or something else.

"It wouldn't be good if someone heard us. Come in."

Leah stopped in front of a room with a cat sign that read: Do Not Disturb!

"Um?"

Seeing this door, Linda sobered up halfway.

Isn't this Leah's room?

Ever since the two of them had become increasingly estranged due to their disagreement over the strategy, he hadn't entered Lia's room.

Linda pointed to the lounge on the second floor, "Let's go there."

"No need, Chrona might go."

Leah turned and gave him a defiant look: "What, you're not afraid that I'll do something to you, are you?"

"What?"

"You won by luck at the Star Rank, but at the Moon Rank, I've mastered a new rare skill called [Dance of Flames]. It allows me to condense a phantom of fire-type battle aura and make the same attack motion as me."

Aside from the drawback that it is not affected by the power boost from Super Charge, it is almost a perfect move.

"I'll be the next ten-star."

Seeing the surprise in Linda's eyes, Leah's lips curled up even more: "If you're scared, you can run away."

"Afraid of you?"

Linda smiled.

He always accommodated and tolerated Leah, but he was never afraid of her.

"Then I'll have to take a good look at how messy your room is. You don't have any dirty books hidden there, do you?" he joked.

Leah's eyes widened: "Don't talk nonsense, I don't watch that."

The door wasn't locked, and Linda, who was walking ahead, pushed it open with one hand.

Entering Leah's room after so many years, I felt a strange stirring in my heart.

The interior was paved with white tiles, the trash cans were filled with new bags, the windows were open, and the night breeze stirred the white curtains.

A bed, a desk, a wardrobe—clean and simple.

Linda glanced around and noticed a few small details. There were several strategy diagrams on the table covered with writing, which seemed to have been given to Lia by Phyllis for review. They were marked with many red checkmarks or crosses, indicating that they had been carefully corrected.

Next to the wardrobe were several wooden swords, their hilts dented and deformed – marks left from tens or hundreds of thousands of swings.

On the wall directly opposite the desk is a poster, yellowed and looking quite old, featuring a man in a black trench coat.

Linda asked calmly, "Poster."

"Oh, this person is called Dailian Zhaowo, an adventurer from the capital. It's normal that you don't know him."

Leah excitedly told Linda a whole bunch of stories about the Dark Shadow.

What about clearing 29 floors without taking damage, slaying legendary seven-star monsters, and recruiting one unruly but powerful team member after another...?

At its highest level, it was only at the Ultimate Saint Rank, but the bounty offered by the Demon King's City was comparable to that of a Legendary.

Leah's eyes sparkled with admiration as she concluded, "This kind of person is a true adventurer! She's my idol!"

"Cough cough cough."

Linda felt uncomfortable all over, and her face turned red from the praise.

Thankfully, the room was dark, so Leah didn't see anything unusual about him.

"Stop! I know that Shadow of Darkness is your idol. You called me to your room just to talk about this?"

"I'm sorry, but I hate adventurers like Dark Shadow who are autocratic, arrogant, and have a delusional personality. His teammates must all hate him."

"Huh? What do you know about the Shadow of Darkness? It's all just your wild guesses. They're not acting arbitrarily; they believe in their own strength."

If you ask me, if he hadn't disappeared, he would definitely be a legend by now.

Leah retorted angrily.

"Alright, alright, you're right." Linda didn't want to argue with an idiot. "If you mention the Shadow of Darkness again, I'm leaving."

"I haven't said what I wanted to say yet!"

Lia grabbed Linda's wrist and pushed him against the edge of the bed.

Has this guy drunk too much?

The silly girl's pretty face was so close, her dress was slipping down, and even though she couldn't see anything, Linda still couldn't help but look away.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a white bear-themed bra near the pillow, and an unused sanitary napkin tucked away in a corner. Linda felt a chill run down her spine; this kind of place was definitely not suitable for an adult man.

"Speak quickly if you have something to say." Linda was in a hurry to get back to avoid being misunderstood by her teammates.

"If you were to make a vow with a very close friend, would you agree?"

"ah?"

Linda tilted her head, her whole face turning into a question mark.
