When Li Ze woke up the next day, he found that the bedroom had been cleaned and there wasn't a trace of anything left. Their clothes had also been put into the washing machine to wash and dry.

It was as if nothing had happened last night.

Li Ze blinked and blankly went to wash up.

Halfway through the shower, He Xingjue came in yawning, said "Good morning," and then started taking off his pants and urinating.

Li Ze: ".......I'm here."

“I don’t mind.” He Xingjue flushed the water, came over to wash his hands, and washed up with Li Ze.

Their eyes met in the mirror, one blank, the other with a triumphant smile.

Li Ze handed the villa over to a housekeeping robot and granted Chen Kaiyang and the other two access to the manor and the villa so that they could take care of it.

"How long do you plan to stay?" Chen Kaiyang asked.

It's no wonder he asked that question; these two were acting as if they wouldn't be back for several years, or even more than a decade.

"I don't know," Li Ze said calmly. Cultivation knows no time; a cultivator's seclusion can be as long as the world changes. He couldn't be sure.

However, "If there is a beast tide, I should be able to appear. So, if Void Beasts appear, please remember to let me know."

Upon hearing this, Chen Kaiyang and the other two breathed a sigh of relief, as they were genuinely afraid that their boss was gone forever.

"We will keep an eye out and contact you immediately if any Void Beasts appear," Chen Kaiyang and the other two assured him.

Li Ze nodded. "We're leaving."

"Take care, you and Commander He."

"Okay, take care of yourselves too."

Li Ze and He Xingjue rode together in a mecha. This mecha was not the famous Snow Wolf or Xuan Ying, but a top-tier mecha that Li Ze had stolen from someone else.

“I’ll sit in the driver’s seat, you can take a nap in the rest area,” He Xingjue said considerately.

Li Ze did not refuse the other party's kindness. Rather than sitting idly, he might as well lie down and take a nap. After helping people relieve their mental stress for several days in a row, he was now a little tired.

The mech arrived at the warp portal, where the soldiers guarding the entrance conducted a routine check. When they saw He Xingjue leap from the mech, they froze, instinctively exclaiming, "Commander He!"

He Xingjue's lips curled up slightly. "Yes, it's me."

"Where are you going? Have you regained your memory? Are you feeling alright?" the soldier asked in a row.

"I'm going for a walk. I've regained my memory in two days and I'm feeling great. Thank you for your concern," He Xingjue replied.

The soldiers were genuinely happy for He Xingjue when they learned that he had regained his memory, and asked with concern, "Are you going alone?"

“No, he’s with my partner; he’s asleep inside the mech. Could you please go up and check on him yourself so you can register our information?” He Xingjue said politely.

The soldier wanted to say he didn't need to look, as he trusted Commander He's character, but under Commander He's smiling gaze, he nodded and jumped onto the mech's hatch.

Whether it was his imagination or not, the soldier felt as if Commander He had specifically invited him in to confirm this in person.

Although he didn't know why.

The soldier glanced at the rest pod before exiting the mech.

"You and Mr. Li Ze have such a good relationship." The soldier sighed sincerely. Just now, he had noticed the spots on Mr. Li Ze's collarbone. Without a doubt, they were hickeys.

And since she went to bed early this morning, it's clear she didn't sleep well last night. As for why she didn't sleep well, the answer is self-evident.

The soldiers looked at He Xingjue with admiration. Even though he wasn't a sentry, Commander He could still keep Boss Li Ze so tired that he couldn't get out of bed.

Tsk tsk, no wonder he was once the most powerful commander in their empire.

He Xingjue's smile deepened, his smug look almost irritating.

The soldier suddenly understood the other man's intention. He lowered his head and said, "You're feeding us dog food right in front of us. How can you bear to do that?"

They guard the jump passage here year-round, rarely having time to spend with their families, not to mention, he's single.

The soldier felt bitter and envious.

He Xingjue patted the soldier on the shoulder and said, "Keep it up."

The soldier remained expressionless: "......I wish you and Boss Li Ze a safe journey."

Li Ze and He Xingjue's destination was the southeastern border. They sailed through the jump tunnel for more than two hours until they reached the end of the jump tunnel before they came out.

Upon seeing He Xingjue, the soldiers guarding the entrance were stunned again, asking blankly, "How did you get here?"

Just then, Li Ze also woke up from his rest pod. When he shook his groggy head as he stepped out of the mech, the soldiers were surprised again. "The boss is here too?"

He Xingjue took Li Ze's hand and said with a smile, "We're here on vacation as a couple."

Li Ze tried to free his hand, but found that the other person did not move and held on very tightly.

Oh well, it's just holding hands, let him be.

He Xingjue chatted with the soldiers, asking them about nearby restaurants and attractions.

Li Ze stood aside, secretly surprised. He was used to He Xingjue's serious or shameless demeanor, and this was the first time he had seen He Xingjue so approachable.

It seems that his understanding of He Xingjue is not comprehensive.

He Xingjue pulled Li Ze along, saying goodbye to the soldiers as they walked towards the mecha. Once inside, he slammed Li Ze against the hatch and bit him hard. "What are you thinking about?"

Li Ze slowly came to his senses and said quietly, "I didn't expect Commander He to have such good interpersonal skills."

Hearing this, He Xingjue smiled and said, "Since you don't like socializing, I'll take care of all that from now on."

Li Ze snorted twice, "You are the servant, it is your job to do these things."
