The door opened, and Assistant Li came in with a few people, and the food delivery person also came in. Assistant Li arranged for the food delivery person to put the food on the dining table in the restaurant. The others came in and greeted Mr. Lai, Vice President Xu, Director Kuang and others. They brought some gifts and placed them next to the coffee table.

Su Tiantian walked over holding Liu Jingze's hand, and heard Mr. Lai say, "I invited you to a dinner party, and you all bought so much that there's no room left. You can take the gifts back later."

Vice President Xu said, "Let our versatile Assistant Li sort it out for you later, and that'll be all."

Mr. Lai said, "Everyone is here, everyone must be hungry, let's go eat." The people who arrived later were a little curious when they saw Liu Jingze standing next to Su Tiantian, but they didn't say anything. The dining table was big enough, there was enough space for 13 people to sit together. Vice President Xu raised his hand and said, "Tiantian, take Jingze to sit next to me, and we'll have a drink."

Liu Jingze found that there were only three ladies present. There was no wine in their glasses, but juice. It seemed that Assistant Li, who was in charge of pouring the wine, knew what President Lai was thinking very well.

On Liu Jingze's left was Vice President Xu, and on his right was Su Tiantian. Vice President Liu touched Liu Jingze's wine glass and said, "Tiantian doesn't have to drink, but Jingze you must. I know you can drink quite a bit." Liu Jingze picked up the wine glass and said, "Thank you all for taking care of Tiantian. I'd like to toast you all." After saying that, he drank the wine in one breath.

Upon seeing this, Mr. Lai said, "That's great." He also drank the wine in one breath.

Vice President Xu: "Mr. Lai, I'm not the only one who can drink with you tonight." Except for Assistant Li, Vice President Xu and the other men present drank up the wine in their glasses.

Assistant Li was about to pour the wine when Bai Rongchang had already taken the bottle and poured wine for everyone. His movements seemed very skilled.

Vice President Huang, wearing a blue shirt, stood tall and straight, with a square face. He spoke with a serious expression, "We have to go to work tomorrow, so everyone should try not to drink too much, Mr. Lai, is that right?"

After hearing this, Mr. Lai looked a little uneasy and said, "Yes, Vice President Huang is right. Work is important. Let's eat more vegetables and drink less."

Su Tiantian whispered in Liu Jingze's ear, "The one who poured the wine just now was Manager Bai from the sales department, and the one who spoke was Vice President Huang from our company." Liu Jingze stood up and picked up the wine glass and said, "I toast to Mr. Lai and wish him a prosperous business and good health."

Vice President Huang said coldly, "It's no use toasting President Lai with a glass of wine. Approving leave should be done according to normal procedures. Manager Huo from our HR department is here, and Manager Su is incredibly influential. None of us brought our families, yet you did."

The atmosphere suddenly grew cold. Aside from Liu Jingze, everyone looked at the HR manager, Huo Xingliang. The tall, thin Huo Xingliang simply lowered his head to eat, remaining silent.

Mr. Lai stood up, looked around and said, "This is my home. I'm treating everyone to a private meal. I can invite whoever I want. This isn't a company party. Why is Vice President Huang taking it so seriously?"

Mr. Lai continued, "Jingze, I'll drink the glass of wine you offered me. Lao Xu and I have always treated Tiantian as our sister. I wish you happiness. Please sit down and continue eating."

Vice President Xu stood up, clinked glasses with Liu Jingze, and said, "Come, come, come, have a drink. President Lai and I do treat Tiantian as our sister. Jingze, you don't have to be so polite."

Vice President Huang's expression turned sour as he watched the three men finish their drinks and sit down. Bai Rongchang poured more wine for everyone.

Bai Rongchang spoke in a cheerful tone: "Actually, not only is Manager Su getting married, I'm getting married too."

Vice President Xu said: "I can't believe that the two managers in the business department, who are usually good at business, are now getting married so quickly. They were still single before the Chinese New Year holiday, but when they came back from the holiday, they said they wanted to get married."

Assistant Li said, "Congratulations, Manager Bai and Manager Su. Manager Bai, when are you getting married? You won't be taking the same amount of wedding leave as Manager Su, right?"

Bai Rongchang said, "I don't think so. I've actually already registered my marriage in my hometown, but I won't hold the wedding banquet until after the baby is born. I'll then invite everyone to the wedding banquet. Manager Su, do you want to hold the wedding banquet first?"

Su Tiantian said, "Yes, I would like to invite you all to the wedding banquet, but I'm afraid you may find it too far, as it will take three hours to drive."

Mr. Lai said, "It's not too far. A three-hour drive is nothing. I'll give you a big red envelope when you get there."

Vice President Huang said, "A three-hour drive is really nothing. Manager Su will arrange for transportation and hotel accommodations."

Vice President Xu said, "What about car transfers and hotel accommodations? We can just drive back and forth on our own. Why bother the host?"

Su Tiantian pressed Liu Jingze's hand, shook her head at him, and signaled him not to make a sound.

Su Tiantian said, "We'll see how things go when the time comes, because I also want to invite Miss Lai, Mrs. Lai and the others, but I don't know their schedules."

Mr. Lai laughed heartily. "That really caught me off guard. I don't know their itinerary either. Let me know after you've asked them, and I'll just follow them."

Assistant Li said, "Everyone, hurry up and eat. The food is getting cold. This is something Mr. Lai specially ordered from a famous restaurant nearby. If you go there later, there won't be any seats."
