Chapter 225 Ship

Ash stood on the open ground and said, "This ship is fully charged, so you can set off anytime."

Cheng Zhi and the others exchanged glances. Was there any need to hesitate? Let's set off now!

Taking advantage of the dim morning light, they set off with Cheng Ye and Liu Liu.

Cheng Ye immediately sobered up, "Where did you get this ship from?!"

Cheng Zhi replied, "It probably drifted over from the park next door."

The six people and one dog drifted slowly on the water, creating ripples on the surface. They didn't know where they were going, so they just kept driving forward.

They weren't afraid of getting lost at all, since Cheng Zhi had already taken the cabinet out and put it in the room, so no matter how far they went, they could always find their way home.

The scene wasn't as good as she had imagined. There was a lot of trash on the water around her. When she reached a slightly cleaner spot, Cheng Zhi stopped.

Everyone floated quietly on the water. Looking ahead, there was still water, and looking back, there were only three or four low houses.

Cheng Ye looked back and said happily, "We can still see our distress signal here!"

They didn't stay afloat for long; they went back when they were done.

After the women on the 25th floor left, Zheng Wan put the boat back into her spatial storage.

They went out many more times, but still couldn't find another place to stay.

Cheng Zhi was quite disappointed, but she still didn't give up.

While keeping watch that night, she was still studying the map. She pointed to Jiufeng Mountain on the map and decided to go and see it the next day.

Just as Cheng Zhi was deep in thought, she suddenly felt a burst of light.

Cheng Zhi thought Chen Siyu was playing with a flashlight, but the next second Chen Siyu exclaimed, "Holy crap, Cheng Zhi! Look! Is that a boat?!"

Cheng Zhi looked up, but the light was so bright that she couldn't open her eyes and could hardly see what was behind the light.

But Chen Siyu saw it very clearly; she was certain that it was a boat.

Chen Siyu didn't care that it was the middle of the night. She pulled out a megaphone that she hadn't used in a long time from her spatial storage, ran to the window, opened the glass door, and shouted, "Here! Help!"

The other party must have heard him, because he turned the boat to the side, and Cheng Zhi could see the name of the boat and the familiar flag next to it.

It seems the other party has given some response, or has she already started chatting with Chen Siyu?

Cheng Zhi felt she could no longer hear, but she was still moving. She first woke up the people on the 25th floor, and then asked Xiao Zhi to wake up the people on the 24th floor.

Cheng Zhi felt so excited she was trembling, and Chen Siyu next to her was also very excited.

She took Cheng Zhi's hand and said, "The people on the ship said they are looking for survivors and also for land to land on. They can let us on board!"

Cheng Zhi nodded and squeezed Chen Siyu's hand in return, "I've already woken everyone up."

"Have you called for all three floors?" Chen Siyu asked.

"..."

Oh no, she forgot about the boy on the 26th floor!

Cheng Zhi wanted to hurry up and call them, but she didn't expect that the boys had already come down when they heard the sound, and people from upstairs and downstairs gathered in front of the door.

Cheng Zhi quickly opened the door and let them in. She glanced at the door but didn't lock it again.

Others probably heard it too, so they left it on, letting anyone who wants to come come. They can't stop others from trying to survive.

There was nothing in the house that Cheng Zhi needed to take with her. After tidying up the cabinet, she went to the window.

The boat was at the other end of the ladder, and she went up first to help the others.

I don't know if she was the captain or a crew member, but she was a woman with a smile on her face.

Cheng Zhi thanked her and then asked, "We also have two dogs, can they come on the boat?"

She was worried about being rejected, but she wasn't. The woman patted Cheng Zhi on the shoulder and said, "A dog's life matters too. We won't give up on it."

With that thought removed, Cheng Zhi nodded slightly and said, "Thank you, sister."

The woman burst out laughing. She touched her face and said, "Hahaha, you have such a sweet tongue. I'm a post-80s generation, so I should be about the same age as your parents. Calling me 'sister' isn't appropriate. Just call me Zoe. I'm the captain. You can come to me if you have any questions in the future."

After a brief exchange, Cheng Ye and her mother came up, and finally, Cheng's father came up carrying Liu Liu.

One by one, they came up, and Qi Yanche was the last one.

Once they were all aboard, Zoe had the crew take them to register their information and assign them accommodations.

Even as she stood at the guest room door with the key in hand, Cheng Zhi still felt a sense of unreality.

Cheng Zhi wasn't the only one who felt it was unreal; even Cheng Ye, sitting on the bed, still found it very surreal.

He looked at Chen Yiyi on his left, then glanced at Qi Yanche on his right, and said helplessly, "Why would I share a triple room with the two of you?"

Qi Yanche didn't hear the reluctance in his words and kindly explained it again.

"What that lady just said is that couples and children stay in double rooms, single women stay in double rooms, and single men stay in triple rooms. You just turned 18 again, so you're with us."

Cheng Ye: "..."

Suddenly I don't want to grow up anymore.

On the other side, Chen Siyu was still holding her sleepy little sister. She stood at her parents' door and whispered, "Zhiyu can only sleep with you. My single bed is really small and can't fit two of us."

Mr. and Mrs. Chen nodded and took the little sister from her. "Okay, don't worry. You've been up all night, go back and get some rest."

Perhaps it was too noisy outside, because the door to the next room was suddenly flung open, and a burly man with a fierce face walked out, leaned against the door, and looked at the family, saying, "It's quite lively tonight!"
