"A-Su and his entourage are about to enter the capital. Yun'er is thinking of A-Su, and naturally doesn't want any more trouble at this time," the Empress Dowager reminded her.

“She can’t keep this child. No matter what, the child might not survive in the end, and could even be harmed along with her body.” Yu Jingchen said seriously.

"His Majesty doesn't want Yun'er to hate you, does he?" The Empress Dowager didn't say anything else, only asked this question.

Yu Jingchen fell silent, and the Empress Dowager also stopped speaking. She sighed softly, "Your Majesty, please go in and take a look. I trust you have made your own decision." After saying this, the Empress Dowager did not linger. There was no point in her staying here any longer.

Yu Jingchen stepped into the room. Nan Zhiyun was sitting on the edge of the bed, looking utterly insecure and hugging herself. His heart skipped a beat when he saw this scene.

He walked towards Nan Zhiyun. Nan Zhiyun looked at Yu Jingchen coming over, her face turned pale, but she did not react in any other way.

"Do you still want to stay?" Yu Jingchen asked her, his voice this time sounding a little gentler.

Nan Zhiyun stared at her expectantly without responding, but her eyes conveyed everything she wanted to say.

Yu Jingchen let out a breath. He glanced at the medicine beside him, and Nan Zhiyun noticed his gaze, gripping the blanket even tighter.

Yu Jingchen noticed and reached out to grasp Nan Zhiyun's hands. The moment he touched her, Nan Zhiyun tried to pull her hands back, but how could she possibly be stronger than Yu Jingchen? So she could only let Yu Jingchen hold her hands.

Nan Zhiyun stared into his eyes, and Yu Jingchen didn't urge her. After a while, she finally spoke: "I want to stay, is that okay? Let's try, alright?" Nan Zhiyun's watery eyes were heartbreaking to look at.

“…Okay, I’ll give it a try.” Yu Jingchen agreed. He agreed? There was a hint of surprise in Nan Zhiyun’s eyes.

"You can stay. If you want to give it a try, that's fine. But there are a few things I need to tell you in advance. Even if you stay now, you might not be able to stay in the future, so don't regret your decision later. Also, if there's another unexpected event and it's really not suitable for you to stay, you must listen to me and can't be so stubborn anymore, understand?" Yu Jingchen said these things first.

Nan Zhiyun naturally had no reason to refuse anymore. She nodded in agreement. Some things can be delayed as long as possible. Who can say for sure what will happen in the end?

Seeing that Nan Zhiyun had agreed and her emotions had calmed down, Yu Jingchen felt somewhat relieved, as the situation had finally stabilized.

"Are you still having stomach pains?" Yu Jingchen changed the subject. Nan Zhiyun shook her head; she was much better now.

Don't go back to He'an Palace for now; just stay here," Yu Jingchen continued. Xing had just come over, but nothing came out. Moreover, the note they found in the palace maid's stomach was blank; nothing was written on it.

Therefore, this matter still needs to be investigated. Compared to He'an Palace, Zichen Palace is generally safer.

The cold-natured medicine that Nan Zhiyun took was contaminated with chopsticks she used. It wasn't just cold; it also contained some mild toxins.
