Meng Huaiyan pursed his lips, strode forward, grabbed Shen Tang's wrist, and dragged her outside.

The shop was doing brisk business, and Shen Tang was so busy that she didn't notice Meng Huaiyan's arrival until he grabbed her wrist.

Shen Tang took a deep breath: "There are so many women in the capital who like you. Are you going to go up to each and every one of them and tell them they don't like me?"

Meng Huaiyan retorted angrily, "But I've kept my distance from them, unlike you who greeted me with such a smile. You've never smiled at me like that, so why can they?"

Shen Tang yelled at him, "My relationship with him is just that of a shopkeeper and a customer. There has been no inappropriate behavior between us. Your accusation is simply ridiculous!"

"Can't you look at this rationally?!"

Meng Huaiyan was panting heavily, his eyes glaring fiercely at her. After a moment, he said coldly.

"You should close the shop. Now that you're married, it's no longer appropriate for you to show your face in public."

Upon hearing this, Shen Tang opened her mouth wide and froze. She looked at the person in front of her, her eyes filled with only disappointment.

"I thought that after five years, you would have changed. It seems that my idea was ridiculous. You are just as selfish and autocratic as you were five years ago, only caring about your own feelings and not caring about other people's thoughts at all."

"You say you'll change, that you'll respect me? Is this what you call respect?!"
