Chapter 475 My Son is a Pillar of Society

"Can you still plan after turning into a zombie?"

Bai Yifan glanced at the child zombie who was only a few years old and felt a chill run down his spine.

Is it possible that someone or some zombies deliberately turned young children into zombies?

What is the purpose of this?

If you want zombie minions, it's simple, just go for a walk.

The world is full of grotesque zombies, so why deliberately turn humans into zombies?

How twisted must a zombie or a human be to do something like this?

"Look, the family that rushed out of the yard is the only one. Zombies can't control their impulses and can leave a tooth mark on each person's neck. This means that the other party is a zombie king with self-awareness. He turned these families into zombies together."

Bai Xizhu's voice was somewhat heavy.

Not only these few families in front of us, but perhaps the entire village has been turned into zombies by that guy.

This isn't a place like Peach Village where humans and zombies coexist peacefully; this is a veritable zombie village!

I've seen plenty of zombies that eat people, and I've also seen zombies that don't.

I never expected to see a zombie king who doesn't eat people, but simply turns them into zombies!

The zombies in front of them were clearly from the village. Perhaps they weren't originally zombies, but the whole family had turned into them...

What a tragic reunion.

"Oh no!" Bai Zhengxuan exclaimed in panic. "We hope Old Wang and Old Liu don't get bitten!"

Bai Zhengxuan pressed his face against the glass, staring intently out the car window.

His gaze swept across the zombie villagers.

I hope to see Lao Wang and Lao Liu soon, but I don't want to see them in a pile of zombies!

"Don't worry, they should be fine."

Bai Xizhu glanced at the old man with a worried expression at the back of the bus.

The old man was still at the back of the bus, but this time he didn't yell at the bus to hurry up.

It was too late; all the zombies in the village had come out.

Strangely, the old man stood there without flinching, but the zombie villagers didn't bite him. Instead, they pounced on the much tougher bus.

The old man clearly had no special abilities and couldn't control zombies, yet he stood there without attracting any attention from any of them.

No matter which zombie it was, it seemed not to smell the old man's flesh and blood, and bypassed him, rushing towards the bus.

The old man's weathered gaze would occasionally fall on the zombie villagers, a hint of sorrow in his eyes.

After a long while, the old man slowly turned around and walked in the opposite direction from the bus.

"Sis, this old man is definitely suspicious. Should we grab him?"

The old man's figure stood out starkly among the zombie villagers; he was the only human among them.

The figure looked very desolate from behind.

Bai Xizhu glanced at the old man's back and felt inexplicably sad.

After she died, her future grandparents must have been just as lonely!

Bai Xizhu sighed, but still used her control to "grab" the old man.

Since the old man was the only human being in the village, there was nothing wrong with kidnapping him to save Grandpa Wang.

Moreover, he is definitely connected to the village's zombie king!

As the number of zombie villagers increased, Bai Xizhu used her control to push them outwards, and managed to move the old man from the back of the bus to the inside through the window.

The old man's face didn't show much expression; he just looked sadly at the zombies outside the bus.

"My friend has been captured by zombies in this village. You know where he is!"

Bai Zhengxuan used an affirmative tone.

A normal person wouldn't be this calm, nor could they stop all the zombies in the village from biting him.

The old man stood hunched over among the Bai family members, his hoarse voice ringing out, "I don't understand what you're saying. You have no friends here. You'd better leave quickly! Even if you're superhumans, you won't be able to go back if you stay any longer!"

As he said this, the old man unconsciously glanced south, his eyes filled with worry.

He was worried about his son, who was the zombie king who controlled the zombies in the village.

"Xiao Fan, head south!" Bai Xizhu saw the old man's eyes and spoke decisively.

The old man looked at the villagers with eyes full of sorrow, but he would never say a word about the village when asked, as if he was subconsciously protecting the village's zombie king.

Bai Xizhu no longer felt that the old man was compassionate or empathetic.

He sympathized with the victims while protecting the village's zombie king.

In a sense, inaction is no different from being an accomplice.

He is in league with the Zombie King, and their relationship is quite close.

It's either his wife or his son.

Upon hearing Bai Xizhu's words, Bai Yifan decisively turned the steering wheel and quickly weaved through the zombie villagers.

"roar--"

A bunch of zombies followed the bus, and the most conspicuous were the many child zombies following at the very back.

They weren't fast runners, but their fierce expressions and rotting flesh were no less than those of ordinary zombies!

"You guys better get out of here! You definitely can't beat him!"

The old man muttered to himself.

The last sentence was spoken with an affirmative tone, almost like self-comfort.

When a son does something wrong, the father always feels the need to help cover it up.

He was a good person when it didn't involve his son's safety; he told Bai Xizhu to leave.
