Bai Xizhu glanced at the pocket watch in the base commander's hand.

She understood that in Leng Yebai's heart, if he didn't acknowledge them, it meant that his parents were someone else, and perhaps his mother was still alive.

The base commander looked up at the face with features that resembled his and his wife's, and sighed almost imperceptibly.

The base commander wore a faint smile, as if he had returned to that night when he waited for the birth of his first and only child in the midst of a heavy snowfall.

"It sounds like a girl's name, it doesn't sound good," Leng Yebai said coldly.

The base commander chuckled softly, "My wife named it."

His wife naively thought she would give birth to a beautiful girl, but instead she gave birth to a beautiful son.

Since they're both pretty kids, let's just call her Yingxue!

After all, children can't speak, so they can't object to whatever you call them.

Unexpectedly, it was twenty-six years later when that child first heard that name and developed self-awareness.

“That name sounds like a girl’s!” Bai Yifan interjected, looking up from his book.

Just thinking about Brother Leng's handsome face and the name Yingxue makes me... want to laugh.

“There are options; we can name him Tiezhu,” the base commander said earnestly.

He chose the name himself because he felt that if he really had a son, naming him Yingxue would be a bit inappropriate.

"Your child is so pitiful!" Leng Yebai said with a cold expression.

The base commander scratched his head and thought that the name Tiezhu was not bad; it sounded impressive!
