Chapter 55 The Tasteless Chocolate

"Thank you, Grandpa! Today's food is very fresh, and Tangtang really likes it!"

Fan Tangtang sat on a small stool with a smile, tearing at the 'food' in his hand in small bites.

It was something that was clearly bloody, but it looked very ordinary.

Just like a normal child eating and drinking.

The elderly zombie stood to the side with a blank expression and a vacant look in his eyes, showing no reaction to Fan Tangtang's praise.

Fan Tangtang, though small as a dumpling, had a huge appetite, and he ate all the 'food' brought back by the old zombie.

"Grandpa, Tangtang is thirsty. Could you please get me a bottle of water?"

Fan Tangtang carefully wiped the bloodstains from his mouth, staring longingly at the old zombie.

The old zombie's blank face remained unresponsive, but its body began to move.

With stiff fingers, she managed to bend them slightly and shakily placed a bottle of water in front of Fan Tangtang.

"Thank you, Grandpa!"

Fan Tangtang's sweet, childlike voice rang out as he smiled very politely at the elderly zombie.

With chubby little hands, he unscrewed the water bottle and gulped down the water.

After finishing his water, Fan Tangtang carefully took out two pieces of chocolate from his pocket.

"Grandpa, this is the chocolate that the lady gave me today." Fan Tangtang peeled off a piece of chocolate and whispered, "The lady and her family are so powerful. Tangtang can't beat them. Tangtang was afraid they would do something to Grandpa, so I begged them to leave quickly."

The elderly zombie stood motionless.

No matter what Fan Tangtang said, he didn't react at all.

"That older sister is so gentle, just like Tangtang's mom." Fan Tangtang pouted, her eyes glistening with tears. "Once Tangtang gathers more helpers, let's go find Mom and Dad together!"

The helpers in the factory were all killed by my sister and her family, so we have to find new ones.

The old zombie remained expressionless, oblivious to whatever Fan Tangtang said.

Fan Tangtang looked at his grandfather, who had a blank expression, and sighed slightly. He then turned around and moved a small stool to the front of the elderly zombie.

Fan Tangtang, with his short legs, stepped onto the stool and stuffed the newly opened chocolate into the old zombie's mouth.

The old zombie remained expressionless and motionless, letting Fan Tangtang stuff chocolate into his mouth without opening it.

"Grandpa, can you open your mouth?"

Fan Tangtang blinked, his face full of pleading.

The old zombie paused, then slowly opened its mouth, which was filled with black blood.

The black chocolate was put in, and instantly, the black blood and chocolate mixed together.

"Grandpa, chew it like Tangtang does, and then swallow it!"

Fan Tangtang unwrapped the second chocolate, chewed it bit by bit, and finally swallowed it.

The old zombie glanced at Fan Tangtang blankly, chewing absently.

Black blood dripped from his mouth from time to time, but this did not affect his chewing at all.

"Why does the chocolate taste bland?" Fan Tangtang muttered.

The old zombie ignored him, black liquid seeping from the corner of its mouth, indistinguishable as either black blood or chocolate.

Fan Tangtang took out a tissue from his pocket and occasionally wiped the black blood from the corner of the old zombie's mouth.

Finally, the old zombie swallowed the chocolate and returned to its numb and blank expression.

Fan Tangtang looked up at the old zombie and said with a smile, "Grandpa, shall we go take a look in the backyard?"

The elderly zombie stood numbly in place, offering no response.

Fan Tangtang carefully helped the elderly zombie off the stool, then tiptoed and turned the lock.

Fan Tangtang peeked furtively through the door.

There is no one.

Fan Tangtang breathed a sigh of relief; his sister and the others had left!

Fan Tangtang jumped for joy. This way, he wouldn't have to worry about his and his grandfather being beaten by his sister!

He couldn't beat his sister, and he hoped she wouldn't come again!

Fan Tangtang waved at the old zombie, then hopped and skipped in one direction.

The elderly zombie dragged its heavy body, closely following behind Fan Tangtang.

The entire light steel villa manufacturing plant was huge. It took Fan Tangtang nearly ten minutes to walk there with his short legs before he arrived at a small door.

Fan Tangtang took out the red rope hanging around his neck, and a key was hanging from the red rope.

A snap.

The door lock was opened.

Fan Tangtang and the elderly zombie stepped through the small door.

Behind the small door lies a world of its own.

This is where the factory manager of the light steel villa manufacturing plant lives.

The three-story villa was incredibly grand, with white marble paving the ground in the yard, exuding unparalleled luxury.

The courtyard is very exquisite, the only discordant element is that some corners of the courtyard are a bit out of place.

This was originally a garden, but there were no flowers or plants inside, only a small coffin that had been dug up.

The soil was piled up haphazardly on both sides of the small coffin.

Fan Tangtang sat silently on the flower bed, looking puzzled as he asked the old zombie, "Grandpa, do you know why Mom and Dad let Tangtang sleep here?"

The elderly zombie's eyes were vacant, and he still did not answer Fan Tangtang's question.

Fan Tangtang sighed, his voice slightly angry, "How could Mom and Dad be so mean? They piled so much dirt on top of it, and it took Tangtang a long time to dig it out!"

"However, Tangtang still loves his parents very much and misses them a lot."

Fan Tangtang murmured softly, looking at the small courtyard with a nostalgic expression.

The old zombie's numb face showed a slight change of expression, and it let out a low growl.
