"Daughter-in-law, come quick! It's a zombie!"

As the base commander spoke, purple lightning overflowed from his hand, which he hurled without hesitation at the zombie in front of him.

The purple lightning wasn't intense; it was enough to deal with ordinary zombies.

The base commander's lips twitched violently as he looked at the zombie baring its teeth at him.
