"Brother Er Gou, are you there?"

It was already late at night, and the whole village was quiet. Zhao Dahua stumbled to Zhao Ergou's door and asked softly.

Zhao Ergou was half asleep; he hadn't had high expectations to begin with, and it was just a casual remark during the day.

Unexpectedly, Zhao Dahua actually came!

There's a bargain to be had. Why not take advantage of it? He won't lose anything anyway.

Zhao Ergou opened the door, grabbed Zhao Dahua, and muttered, "Why are you so late? You made your brother wait so long."

He lunged at her, tearing at her clothes, but she quickly stopped him, saying, "Brother Er Gou, let's go inside, let's go inside~"

Zhao Dahua finally left, exhausted, as dawn broke.

After dinner, Xiuer sat there lost in thought, lost in thought.

"Xiu, what's wrong? You seem so distracted," Li Rouniang asked with concern.

"Rou Niang, Er Gou has been coming to see me these past two days. He wants me to go back and live with him, but I refuse. He's been dragging me around ever since."
