Qin Yuanyao stood at the door and listened for a while, and roughly knew which family was arguing.

She lost interest in listening any further and turned to go back inside when she saw Chi Cheese coming out of another room.

Chi Nai was still sleepy, wearing panda-patterned pajamas and pink slippers.

When she saw Qin Yuanyao, she rubbed her eyes and called out in a soft, childlike voice with a hoarse tone, "Sister Qin..."

Qin Yuanyao quickly went over and squatted down in front of her: "Why did you come out? Did you go to the toilet?"

Chi Cheese nodded and looked up in the direction from which the argument was coming.

"Who's arguing? A child is crying."

"Um."

Qin Yuanyao peeked into Chi Nao and Chi Baiyi's room and saw that Chi Baiyi was sleeping soundly with his back to the door. So she took Chi Nao's hand and went to the bathroom.

Even after they finished using the toilet, the arguing hadn't stopped, and the child's crying continued unabated.

"They're still making noise, and the kids are still crying." Chi Nao glanced at them again, still half asleep.

"Hmm, don't worry about it, let's go back to sleep."

Chi Nao suddenly hugged Qin Yuanyao's leg, looked up at her with misty eyes.

"Sister Qin, can I sleep with you?"
