One of the men in black bit the poison in his mouth and died on the spot. The others followed suit.

"It seems that the people behind them are very cautious." Mu Li said.

Mo Xi and Mu Li continued to study the statue and discovered a dark portal hidden behind it.

"This may be the passage to the source of dark power." Mo Xi said.

Mu Li nodded: "No matter what, we have to go in and find out what's going on."

Hand in hand, the two walked resolutely into the portal, and what awaited them was another unknown and difficult challenge.

Passing through the portal, a strong stench of decay hit me in the face. Before me was a dark swamp, with black mist filling the air.

Mu Li held Mo Xi's hand tightly, and they walked forward cautiously. Suddenly, the ground shook, and a huge shadow beast crawled out of the swamp, its body covered in slime, its eyes flickering with a faint light.

Mu Li then cast a spell, sending countless vines sprouting from the ground and wrapping around the Shadow Beast's limbs. The Shadow Beast roared, breaking free from the vines and lunging again.

At this moment, a voice echoed around: "Do you think you can stop my plan?"

Mo Xi shouted, "Who are you? Why are you hurting innocent people?"
