Mo Xi and Mu Li looked at each other helplessly, not knowing what to do.

After a while, the police arrived at the hotel.

"Did you call the police?" the policeman asked seriously.

The boss nodded quickly, pointed at Mo Xi and said, "That's him, with a little girl, his identity is suspicious."

Mo Xi hurriedly explained: "Comrade police officer, this is really a misunderstanding. Ali and I do know each other. We came out to do business together."

After the police finished asking about Mo Xi's situation, they looked at Mu Li and said, "Little girl, tell me, is he your brother?"

Mu Li was at a loss whether to laugh or cry: "Uncle policeman, he is really my brother. We came out together to investigate the matter." Mu Li whispered to the police the purpose of their visit.

The police inquired about some details and confirmed that they knew each other. Then they said to the boss, "They really are together. It's just a misunderstanding."

Mo Xi and Mu Li also expressed their understanding.

After the police left, the two finally moved into the room smoothly.

"This is really a bad start." Mu Li shook her head helplessly.

Mo Xi smiled bitterly and said, "Don't worry about these things for now, let's think about how to investigate the mysterious killer."

The next morning, Mo Xi and Mu Li went out to inquire about the news.

They were in the town's teahouse and heard people whispering.

"I heard someone was murdered again last night. The death was horrible."

"This killer is so terrifying. When will we catch him?"

Mo Xi and Mu Li looked at each other and quietly approached those people.

"Do you know any inside information?" Mo Xi asked.

The men glanced at them warily and stopped talking.

Mo Xi took out some silver and said, "Don't worry, we just want to help catch the murderer."

One of them hesitated for a moment and said, "I heard that this killer only acts at night and specifically targets wealthy families."

Mu Li frowned: "Is there any clue to find him?"

"I heard that there is always a black flower left at the crime scene." said the man.

Mo Xi and Mu Li decided to go to the crime scene at night.

As night fell, they quietly came to the nearest crime scene.

The room was filled with a bloody smell, and there was indeed a black flower on the ground.

"This flower looks very strange." Mu Li said.

Mo Xi observed the flower carefully and suddenly found a strange symbol on it.

"This may be the key to finding the murderer." Mo Xi said.

Just then, footsteps were heard outside.

"Oh no, someone is coming." Mo Xi pulled Mu Li and hid behind the cabinet.

The footsteps were getting closer and closer. Mo Xi and Mu Li held their breath nervously. They saw a dark figure slowly walk into the room, holding a dim oil lamp in his hand.

The shadow looked around the room, as if searching for something. Mo Xi held Mu Li's hand tightly, signaling her not to make a sound.

Suddenly, a black shadow walked towards the cabinet, and Mo Xi and Mu Li's hearts were in their throats.

Just as the black shadow was about to approach the cabinet, there was a noise outside. The black shadow paused, turned around and walked out.

Mo Xi and Mu Li breathed a sigh of relief and walked out from behind the cabinet.

"It seems we can't stay here for long." Mo Xi said.

The two quickly left the crime scene and returned to their residence.

"Could that black shadow be the murderer?" Mu Li asked.

Mo Xi pondered for a moment and said, "I'm not sure, but I feel he must be related to this matter."

"Then what should we do next?" Mu Li was a little anxious.

Mo Xi thought for a moment and said, "Let's start investigating from the symbol on the flower and see if we can find any clues."

The next day, they asked around the town about the symbol but found nothing.

Just when they were feeling frustrated, a mysterious old man appeared in front of them.

"Young man, I know what you are looking for." The old man said mysteriously.

Mo Xi and Mu Li looked at the old man in surprise and asked quickly, "Old man, please tell us quickly."

The old man lowered his voice and said, "This symbol comes from an ancient organization. They have been operating in secret..."

The old man's voice was low and hoarse. "This organization is extremely mysterious. It is said that they are searching for a treasure that can overturn the world. And this mysterious killer is probably clearing obstacles for this treasure."

Mo Xi frowned and asked, "Then do you know what this treasure is?"

The old man shook his head. "I don't know what it is exactly. But I know that the headquarters of this organization is in a hidden valley."

Mu Li said anxiously, "Then please tell us the location of the valley."

The old man was silent for a moment, then slowly said, "Since you are sincere, I will tell you. But this journey is full of dangers, so you must be careful."

The old man described the location and path of the valley in detail. Mo Xi and Mu Li thanked him and set off immediately.

Along the way, they crossed mountains and rivers and experienced many hardships. Finally, in the mist, they saw the legendary valley.

The valley entrance was eerie and silent, filled with a dangerous atmosphere.

"Ali, be careful." Mo Xi warned.

The two walked into the valley cautiously. As soon as they entered the valley, they heard a sinister laugh.

"Haha, another fearless person has come to my door."

Mo Xi and Mu Li looked around vigilantly, but could not see the person who was speaking.

Suddenly, a group of people in black emerged from all directions and surrounded them.
