Liu Nian was drinking soup when she heard what he said next and almost choked.

The sudden mention of Feng Guiyu reminded Liu Nian of what happened last night, and she felt incredibly upset.

Liu Nian: "I just joined the company. Second brother, isn't promoting me like this sending me into a fire pit?"

Feng Guitu's smile widened: "As the saying goes, fortune favors the bold. Just pretend those old fogies don't exist. That's how I, your second brother, started when I first took over the company." Feng Guitu's sly smile sent chills down Liu Nian's spine.
