After Successfully Saving the Male Leads, I Switched to Strategizing Them

She, Liu Nian, has lived for thousands of years, completing one task after another, transmigrating into various books. This time, the book she transmigrated into gives her the most headaches.

Chapter 13 Going to Kyoto

When we arrived at our destination, it was afternoon, and it was raining in the city.

Liu Nian was speechless. She hadn't expected to arrive just in time for rain. The place she had teleported to was an uninhabited, undeveloped area with nowhere to take shelter from the rain.

This place is under reconstruction and is not far from the city center. Liu Nian found that there were no security cameras here, so he chose to teleport here, then take a taxi to the apartment building, and then choose to walk.

She was a bit unlucky this time; it rained when she arrived, and she was shivering from the cold.

System 025: "Host, would you like to use an item?"

Liu Nian: "If you need points to make purchases, please shut up, thank you."

System: "No need to spend money this time, there's an umbrella in the treasure chest."

Liu Nian: "Then what are we waiting for? Use it now."

Then Liu Nian had a white umbrella in her hand, with a cute goldfish printed on it.

The goldfish's color stood out somewhat against the pure white umbrella, and Liu Nian's temples throbbed, but she chose not to complain; after all, it was good enough that it was even useful.

Then she walked a short distance to a store, opened her phone, and started calling a taxi.

The wait for the bus was long. The cold wind was still blowing, so to distract herself, Liu Nian made a video call to Aunt Chen.

The call was connected shortly afterward; it was Gu Minhang who answered.

His little face was right up against the screen, smiling happily at Liu Nian.

"Big sister!" he called out in a childish voice before explaining, "Aunt Chen was busy, but I answered the phone when I saw it was you calling."

Liu Nian thought the little guy was a good baby, and seeing how sweetly he called her "big sister," Liu Nian was happy too.

"What are the civil aviation authorities doing? Have they been practicing their handwriting properly?"

"I'm wondering when my older sister will come back!" The little guy kept staring at Liu Nian on the screen. Even though he could only see her eyes, he was content. "I'm playing with Lego! It's boring playing alone. When is my older sister coming back?"

Liu Nian felt a warm glow in her heart: "Sister will be home soon. When you get home, sister will play with you."

"Really!" The little one cheered excitedly upon hearing this. "Will you really be home soon, Sister?"

"Hmm, is there anything you want to eat? I'll bring it to you."

"No, I only want my older sister."

It seems he knows how to choose when it comes to food and the passage of time.

The two chatted for a few minutes before the Didi car arrived.

"Sister's getting on the bus now, I'll hang up now, see you later!"

"good."

Once inside the car, the heating was on full blast, and Liu Nian couldn't help but shiver as her body finally began to warm up.

After a ten-minute drive, the car stopped outside a cake shop in the residential area, and Liu Nian got out and went straight in to buy a small cake.

Carrying a cake in one hand and an umbrella in the other, I strolled in the rain.

I had just arrived downstairs when I saw a small figure gazing out from the front door on the first floor.

Liu Nian had excellent eyesight and recognized Gu Minhang. A warm feeling washed over her, and she quickly walked and ran over.

The little guy came down specifically to wait for Liu Nian. He was dressed warmly and didn't feel cold. When he saw that Liu Nian had arrived very quickly, he rushed over and hugged her as soon as she came to his side, calling out in a clear voice, "Sister."

Liu Nian folded the umbrella, put it in her other hand, and used the free hand to pat the little guy on the back.

"Alright, it's cold outside, let's go upstairs quickly."

As she spoke, she took the little one's hand and entered the elevator, pressing the button for the ninth floor.

Perhaps because of the cold weather, not many people went out, and the elevator went straight to the ninth floor.

Once inside, Liu Nian hung the umbrella on the hook in the entryway and changed her shoes with the little one before going into the living room.

Aunt Chen already knew that Liu Nian was coming back, so she was in the kitchen preparing dinner.

After playing with the little guy's Lego for a while, Aunt Chen called him to dinner.

After the three of them had a meal together, Aunt Chen packed her bags and prepared to leave.

Because Liu Nian was going to Kyoto, Aunt Chen, who was middle-aged, didn't want to travel too far, so she chose to stay in the local area.

Liu Nian didn't pressure her; he simply asked her to stay one more night and leave the next day.

Unfortunately, Aunt Chen's son came to pick her up, so Liu Nian gave her a New Year's red envelope in advance and saw her off.

After seeing Aunt Chen off, Liu Nian noticed that the little guy was a bit unhappy. She knew that after five years of working with a nanny, she would have developed some feelings for her, but since the nanny didn't want to go to Kyoto, there was nothing she could do.

"When we get to Kyoto, how about I find you another nanny to take care of you?"

Gu Minhang nodded: "Sister, are we leaving tomorrow?"

"No rush, let's wait a couple of days before we leave."

Just in case, Liu Nian didn't dare let the little guy fly there by himself, so she had to take him with her.

"Will you stay with me these next few days, sister?"

“Yes!” Liu Nian led him back to the living room: “But it’s cold outside, so we won’t go out.”

The little guy is already very content as long as Liu Nian is by his side, and he has no objection to not going out.

She nestled happily in Liu Nian's arms: "It's okay, sister."

That evening, after putting Gu Minhang to sleep, Liu Nian saw that it was still early, so she sent a message to Sister Xu to ask how the preparations were going. If everything was fine, they could set off in the next couple of days.

Sister Xu replied very quickly.

The luggage has been packed and mailed to the address you provided.

Liu Nian: [Then see if you can set off tomorrow or the day after! I'll rush back to see you off.]

Sister Xu: [The weather will be nice tomorrow and the day after. If you're busy, you don't need to rush back. I can take the young master to the airport by taxi.]

Liu Nian just wanted to get things done quickly; she didn't intend to keep the villa, she wanted to sell it.
