Liu Nian was at home enjoying the air conditioning and playing on her phone when Liu Xing called to ask what she was going to do for her birthday. Liu Nian had no idea that Liu Xing even had a birthday celebration.

After thinking it over, she decided that it would be fine for the family to celebrate together, without having to hold a big event.

Liu Yansheng disagreed, feeling that Liu Nian was being too perfunctory with his birthday.

After much persuasion, he finally agreed.

"Then let's have a small celebration and invite your Grandpa Gu to eat out together."

Her birthday is May 1st, which happens to be tomorrow.

Gu Minhang said he had to go out, and she complained that the weather outside was too hot and stuffy, so she didn't go with him, even though it was evening.

Gu Minhang placed the flowers in her arms, covering the tablet.

Liu Nian looked at the starry sky and felt somewhat happy. She smelled it and found the scent quite pleasant, though not as good as the one she had transformed into.

"Do you miss me?" Gu Minhang was persistent. He bent down from behind the sofa, rested his head on her shoulder, and kissed her cheek.

Liu Nian nodded: "Since you didn't forget to bring me flowers when you came back from your trip, I'll reluctantly tell you that I missed you a lot during the two hours we were apart."

Gu Minhang chuckled softly, "Me too."

Then came another round of kisses.

"I can never get enough of kissing my sweetie."

Liu Nian was already used to his frequent kisses, so she naturally hooked her arm around his neck.

Gu Minhang was behind the sofa, bending down to kiss her, while Liu Nian sat on the sofa, tilting her head back to accept his kiss.

The scene was once beautiful.

The next day, Liu Nian woke up naturally and found that Gu Minhang was no longer beside her.

"Gu Tongxue?" She was still a little dazed because she had just woken up, and her voice was full of sleepiness.

She called out once, but no one answered. Liu Nian called again, "Student Gu!"

Still, no one answered.

The rest was the same; on each floor she went down, a girl would come up to her and give her flowers, and the flowers she received were different each time.
