In the evening, the door to the master bedroom was opened.

Gu Chengyu saw that soft, gentle figure in the corner.

He strode over and naturally wanted to bend down and pull the person into his arms.

“Baby, I’m back.” His voice was deep, with a hint of joy at seeing her.

Su Qianqian, however, shrank further into the sofa like a little rabbit, turning her head away to avoid his outstretched hand and his approaching thin lips.

She waved a tablet from the small table next to him in front of his eyes; it displayed a previous interview video of Lin Shu.

She deliberately set this up; 007 couldn't be exposed, so she had to find an excuse to cause trouble for him.

She had a sudden inspiration and found some of Lin Shu's past interviews. Sure enough, humph.

In the video, Lin Shu smiled politely, with a dazzling necklace around her neck.

"Don't touch me."

Su Qianqian's voice was soft and muffled, with a clear hint of sullenness, "Did you see this necklace?"

"Sister Shu looks really good in it."

"In the interview, she said it was a gift from someone she liked."

She emphasized the words "the person I like," raised her watery almond-shaped eyes, and stared straight at Gu Chengyu.

Her lips pouted slightly. "Young Master Chengyu is so generous. He just gave away such an expensive diamond like that."

Gu Chengyu's outstretched hand froze in mid-air. Looking at the little girl's obviously jealous expression, his eyes were full of helplessness. This was all old news from long ago.

However, she's even cuter when she's jealous.

Gu Chengyu simply sat down on the empty seat on the sofa next to her, stretched out his long arm, and domineeringly pulled her into his arms.

Su Qianqian twisted her body symbolically, but her weak strength had no effect on him.

"Little vinegar buddy."

Gu Chengyu chuckled softly, his chest vibrating, causing Su Qianqian in his arms to tremble slightly.

He lowered his head, his thin lips brushing against her soft cheek, his warm breath caressing her.

"And what I gave you was much more expensive than these."

Su Qianqian felt ticklish from his rubbing and shrank her neck, her voice still carrying aggrieved accusation, "But I just feel uncomfortable. You used to give so many gifts to other people."

"Do you say you like someone else, just like you say you like me now?"

"You like someone else?"

Gu Chengyu raised an eyebrow, pinched her delicate chin, and forced her to turn her head to look at him.

His phoenix eyes reflected her image, and he said with a hint of seriousness, "Qianqian, I've only ever said I like you."

"As for the gifts, I did give them, but I didn't put any thought into them; my assistant picked them out."

"However, there is no reason for me, Gu Chengyu, to take back what I have given away."

"That's too low-class, not my style."

He paused, looking at the little girl's still pouting lips, and gently stroked her chin with his fingertips, coaxing her soothingly: "However, if you find it an eyesore, I'll go and remove all of Lin Shu's endorsements right now?"

"Let her feel bad too? Hmm?"
