Gu Chengyu's gaze fell on her lowered eyelids in her panic.

Her thin, fair, and delicate eyelids contrasted sharply with the skin tone of her face.

Is she hiding her true abilities?

He reacted almost without thinking; his body acted before his consciousness.

His long, slender fingers, with an irresistible force, pinched Su Qianqian's delicate chin, forcing her to raise her head.

"Heh..." Gu Chengyu let out a low, ambiguous laugh.

The sensation under his fingertips was incredibly smooth, which made him even more curious.

He leaned closer, his hot, alcohol-scented breath brushing against her smooth forehead, his voice low and husky: "Little assistant... you've been hiding it well."

His gaze lingered greedily on her captivating almond-shaped eyes. "I want to see what kind of face you're hiding."

Su Qianqian's chin was pinched painfully by him, and she was forced to look up at his face, which was so close to hers.

The surging waves in his eyes, and the undisguised desire, made her feel flustered.
