Su Qianqian felt a little uncomfortable under his gaze and subconsciously took a half step back.

She recognized the face; it was Shen Que, the entertainment industry's behind-the-scenes financier and Gu Chengyu's friend, from the system's information.

She lowered her eyes, avoiding his overly direct gaze, and said in a soft, gentle voice with a hint of timid politeness, "Hello, Mr. Shen."

"What's your name?" Shen Que leaned forward slightly.

"Su Qianqian".

“Su, Qian, Qian…” Shen Que slowly savored the name, the last syllable trailing off with an indescribable playfulness.

"Your name, like you, is clean."

He chuckled softly, then suddenly reached out a finger, as if to brush away the stray hairs from her cheek, the movement both natural and tentative. "Practicing quite diligently? Are you tired? Would you like Mr. Shen to give you some private coaching?"

Su Qianqian's heart skipped a beat.

Almost reflexively, a second before he was about to touch her, she recoiled sharply like a startled rabbit.

"President Shen!"

She spoke a little faster than usual: "Thank you for your concern, Mr. Shen! I'm not tired! It's just..."

She glanced quickly at the wall clock, as if grasping at a lifeline, "It's almost 10:30! My vocal lesson is about to start, and I can't be late for the first day!"

As she spoke, she hurriedly tried to get past Chen Que.

"First day of class?"

Shen Que raised an eyebrow, finding the girl's eagerness to escape, coupled with her somewhat clumsy and adorable demeanor, even more amusing.

Instead of moving aside, he stepped to the side, blocking her path.

He deliberately dragged out his words: "As for the vocal lessons, Teacher Wang teaches quite well, but..."

"Would you like to find a better teacher? Mr. Shen can personally teach you something more practical?"

He deliberately emphasized the more practical words, his eyes revealing a blatant implication.

Su Qianqian gritted her teeth inwardly, thinking that he was just like Gu Chengyu in every way.

"No need."

After saying that, she lowered her head and quickly slipped past him.
