Extra 40
Qin Man had drunk quite a bit earlier, and after getting into the car, she was able to chat with Bai Lin for a few minutes at first.
But as the car swayed and the air conditioning warmed her, her eyelids gradually began to droop. She was still talking when she fell asleep the next second.
Bai Lin glanced at the rearview mirror and his lips twitched slightly.
"Tell me the hotel address before you go to sleep," Bai Lin said, but Qin Man didn't respond.
Bai Lin drove aimlessly around the streets, and finally spotted a decent hotel.
But looking at the two people in the car, how was he going to get them up there?
A moment later, he got out of the car, went to the back seat, and patted Qin Man on the shoulder.
Qin Man was fast asleep when she impatiently brushed him away, turned her head away, and continued to snore. It has to be said, she has a really big heart.
Qin Man wasn't careless; she trusted him. She had often heard Qin Anning talk about Bai Lin and knew he was a good person, which was why she could sleep so soundly.
Bai Lin sighed and shook Qin Man again, "Wake up."
Qin Man's morning grumpiness kicked in immediately. She raised her hand and slapped Bai Lin's hand away, "Don't bother me!"
Bai Lin was stunned for a moment.
He stared at Qin Man for a while, then woke her up.
Obviously, he couldn't bring two unconscious girls into the hotel at once; otherwise, he'd be in trouble the moment he stepped inside.
It took some time to finally wake Qin Man up.
Qin Man suppressed her anger, her head spinning, and said irritably, "What are you doing?"
Bai Lin wasn't annoyed and patiently asked, "Where is your hotel located?"
"I forgot."
Qin Man's attitude was really bad, but luckily Bai Lin had a good temper and patiently said, "Then I'll go to this hotel and get a room. You and An Ning can stay together."
"I'll go in and book a room first, then you can bring Anning in, okay?"
Qin Man kept her eyes closed, and it was unclear whether she heard him or not. She mumbled indistinctly, "How could I possibly carry her? Stop messing around."
"Then you go in later, and I'll take her in afterwards, okay?"
Qin Man felt a fly buzzing around her ear. She suddenly opened her eyes and got out of the car.
"You're so annoying, always nagging. I don't need you anymore."
After saying that, she grabbed her bag, went into the hotel, and booked a room.
Before Bai Lin could even go inside, she had already gone to the elevator herself. She took the elevator upstairs because she was so sleepy and just wanted to find a bed to lie down in.
Bai Lin watched her disappear into the lobby, shook his head helplessly, and carried Qin Anning out.
He tried to help Qin Anning walk, but as soon as he put her on the ground, she went limp.
He's really drunk; he's completely unconscious.
Having no other choice, he carried the person inside.
When they checked into the room, the receptionist didn't say anything, but gave them a strange look.
Both of them need to register with their ID cards.
Bai Lin freed one hand and rummaged through Qin Anning's bag, finding her ID card.
So he said, "Let's open two rooms."
The receptionist nodded and used their identification documents to book two rooms.
After taking the room key, he carried Qin Anning into the elevator.
Before they even reached the elevator, Qin Anning suddenly moved, and Bai Lin looked down.
She had a furrowed brow and looked somewhat uncomfortable.
"Anning, are you alright?"
Qin Anning seemed not to hear him and struggled restlessly in his arms. Bai Lin hesitated for a moment, then put her down after entering the elevator.
But she still couldn't stand steadily, so he had to support her and let her lean against him.
The next second, Qin Anning suddenly vomited.
She leaned against Bai Lin's chest, and when she vomited, it naturally all landed on Bai Lin's clothes.
Not only that, after vomiting, she showed no reaction and leaned against Bai Lin's chest.
Bai Lin quickly pointed his finger at her forehead and pushed her face away. If he leaned in, she would get her face covered in his vomit.
Bai Lin quickly took off his suit jacket, the elevator doors opened, and he carried Qin Anning out of the elevator at a brisk pace.
Find the room and swipe your card to open the door.
After placing her on the bed, Bai Lin finally breathed a long sigh of relief. He glanced down at the coat in his hand, then turned and went into the bathroom.
He turned on the tap and tried to wash the stain on his coat, but after washing it for a long time, he threw it into the trash can because it was impossible to get it clean.
He took a towel, wet it with hot water, wrung it out, and went outside.
Upon seeing the bed, Bai Lin was completely dismayed.
Qin Anning, who was lying down just a moment ago, is now lying face down, with half of her body hanging off the edge of the bed, as if she might fall off at any moment. Her beautiful hair hangs down in front of the bed, with half of it falling to the ground.
The ground was covered with the wine she had just vomited, and many strands of her hair were soaking in that unidentified liquid.
Bai Lin stood there blankly for a long time before finally walking over, getting some tissues, and squatting down to clean up the vomit.
There was no hint of disgust on his face, as if he had done it many times before.
He had indeed done it many times before. When he was a child, he would change Qin Anning's diapers and feed her, and her clothes would still be covered in smears.
She would secretly ask Bai Lin to change her sheets when she wet the bed.
Bai Lin was working on the ground when Qin Anning groggily opened her eyes and caught a glimpse of a chest out of the corner of her eye—a chest wearing a white shirt.
She struggled to lift her head, her hazy gaze piercing through her hair to catch a blurry face.
"What are you doing?" she murmured.
Bai Lin paused, and when she looked up, she didn't meet Qin Anning's gaze, but rather her hair.
Looking at it suddenly, it's a bit scary.
Qin Anning only raised her head for a few seconds before lowering it again, her liquid-stained hair sweeping across Bai Lin's arm and leaving light yellow streaks on his sleeve.
Bai Lin ignored her and called out, "An Ning?"
"Hmm..." Qin Anning responded, but her voice sounded confused.
Are you feeling better?
Qin Anning did not answer, keeping her head hanging over the edge of the bed, letting her hair cover her face.
Bai Lin quickly cleaned up the floor, then used the towel to wipe her hair.
After wiping, I went back in to wash the towel, then came out to wipe again. I wiped it seven or eight times before I felt it was clean.
He patted Qin Anning's shoulder and said softly, "Anning, go back to bed and sleep. Aren't you feeling uncomfortable?"
Qin Anning did not answer; she must have fallen asleep again.
Bai Lin hesitated for a moment, then helped her up. Just as he was about to put her down, Qin Anning suddenly hugged him.
Bai Lin was slightly taken aback, his hands froze in mid-air, and he suddenly felt a little lost.
"peaceful?"
He looked down, tentatively reached out, placed his hand on her shoulder, and shook it. "Anning, let go of me first."
He should have kept quiet, because once he did, Qin Anning hugged him even tighter, as if afraid he would run away.
Bai Lin's expression was somewhat complicated. He sat there stiffly, unsure of what to do.
