"Child, go save him!" Her parents, who had died three years ago, appeared in a dream, telling their daughter to go to the graveyard to save a living being.
Thinking it was just a nigh...
Without further ado, Mo Tian looked up, exhaled, and stood up to walk to the walls of the room. He knocked on each wall in turn, and even tried to push the door open again…
But after trying, the result was the same; he couldn't get out of the door at all, and there was nothing unusual about the wall. After struggling for a while without finding any exit, Mo Tian was exhausted and hungry, and lay down weakly on the edge of the bed. Soon, exhaustion overwhelmed him, and he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
He didn't know how much time had passed when he felt a slight itch around his nose. As he raised his hand to touch his nose, he opened his eyes. Close by, a figure sat sideways on the edge of the bed. He saw a face and a strand of hair...
"Little brother, you're awake." The voice was the same, only the face...
"Who, who are you?" Mo Tian propped himself up on the bed with his elbows and quickly moved away, hiding on the other side of the bed.
"I'm Qiao Mei." Qiao Mei? Yes, it's the same voice, but why has the person changed? Her face is thinner, and the bruises from the beating have faded considerably.
The eyes, nose, and lips are no longer crowded together; they are arranged much more neatly and look much better.
At this moment, Song Hye-kyo's single eyelids appeared even longer, and her eyes seemed much clearer. Sitting not far away, she raised her hand, lowered her head, and smoothed a strand of hair behind her ear, a hint of shyness in her expression.
"You, how come you look different?" Looking at her whole body, her clothes were swaying, and she seemed to be a whole size smaller than before. Although the woman in front of her could not be called beautiful, she was much more delicate than the previous Qiao Mei.
"Gurgle!" Mo Tian's stomach growled, and she held it with both hands, feeling quite embarrassed.
"It's all your fault that you got me like this." Qiao Mei glanced at him and spoke much more politely. "So, to thank you, I'm going to treat you to a nice meal."
"I did it?" Such a thing happened! Looks like I've done a good deed and stumbled upon this unexpected stroke of luck. "You want to treat me to something to eat? Well, as your benefactor, can I make a request?"
“Of course, I think it would be better if we went somewhere else to eat first, and then we could have a proper chat.” Qiao Mei nodded, stood up, and gestured for him to join her.
Mo Tian breathed a sigh of relief, stood up, spread her hands out, and looked at them from left to right. She really didn't expect that her hands could have a cosmetic effect.
"Let's go!" Qiao Mei stopped winking and smiled, and walked towards the door first.
Song Hye-kyo is much more normal now than before.
Mo Tian felt much relieved and followed Qiao Mei forward. Strangely enough, there was nothing amiss outside the door Qiao Mei opened, and the two bats from before had long since disappeared...
Looking down the corridor, Mo Tian let out a long sigh and straightened his back.
Follow the corridor to the stairwell, then go down the stairs to the first slightly ajar door on the left.
Qiao Mei reached out and pushed open the wooden door, and an enticing aroma wafted out.
"Gulp!" Mo Tian swallowed hard and quickly stepped forward.
This is a very ordinary main room in a rural family home. The main room is about the same size as the bedroom. There is a large stove by the window, a cupboard to the left, and a rectangular table next to the cupboard.
The light in the main room was rather dim. A white square table was placed in the middle of the room, with a stool on each side of the table. Charcoal was burning under the table, and several small dishes were laid out on the table: a bowl of fried fish, some tofu, and a few fried eggs. Taking a sniff, I was surprised to find that it was a flavor I liked.
