"Miss, please put this coat on so you don't get cold." Xiao Nan came in carrying a fluffy coat with two rabbit ears sewn onto the hood, making it look very cute.

Xu Zhaoyue glanced at it and said, "It's almost July now, and I've kept the windows open. How could I possibly be cold?" She was both amused and exasperated. Even Aunt Wu wouldn't have thought she would be cold. Why did Xiao Nan bring in such a piece of clothing?

“Miss, this coat isn’t thick. I only brought it over because you had the window open. Even in summer, you’ll feel uncomfortable if the cool breeze blows at night. This one is breathable,” Xiao Nan advised.

"Okay, okay, I'll put it on for a bit first." Xu Zhaoyue stood up and let Xiaonan help her put it on. The fabric felt really comfortable.

Xu Zhaoyue wore it for a while and felt that it wasn't hot, so she thought, "By the way, why haven't the machines and equipment I ordered arrived yet? I haven't heard anything about them."

"Young Miss, it's me." As soon as Yue Lanxing entered, he saw a white rabbit sitting on the desk. He blinked for a moment before remembering that it was the Young Miss. However, judging from the Young Miss's words, she probably mistook him for Xiao Nan.

Xu Zhaoyue knew it was Yue Lanxing's voice answering her, and quickly looked up. "Ah? Oh, it's you. Where did Xiaonan go? Why did you bring her up?"

Yue Lanxing carried the coffee to the desk. "I just got a phone call, and Xiao Nan answered it. I just happened to be here and brought it up."

I don’t know if it’s because the sleeves of the bunny coat are a bit too big, but Yue Lanxing always felt that the young lady was curled up and lying on the table, which made her look especially cute, as if you could hold her in your hands.

When Yue Lanxing went downstairs, she didn't see Xiao Nan. She didn't know where Xiao Nan had gone after making the phone call. Just then, Yue Lanxing realized that apart from doing what the young lady had told her to do, she knew nothing else.

Just like the phone call Xiaonan just received, it definitely has nothing to do with the young lady. She knows that without reporting to the young lady, she should finish the call and then go about her business.

Even though he was taken to a Western restaurant, it was only because he was good-looking. He didn't know the young lady's plans after she went to the company, nor did he know what she was busy with every day.

After realizing this, Yue Lanxing suddenly felt that his time with the young lady these past few days was just a mirage, and that anyone with decent looks could replace him.

After Xiao Nan returned from outside, she went to the study. "Miss, Wang Tianding just called and said she would arrive tonight. I asked Tian Dai and Xue Huzi to wait at the dock. If she doesn't arrive tonight, we'll have to wait until tomorrow."
