By the time he found them, the charity event was about to begin. "You're here!" Huang Lian arrived at the back of the yard, where Xu Zhaoyue was examining the teeth of a group of children.

"Don't worry, Dean. These children's teeth are all fine, they won't have cavities. I came here to give these children a check-up. Xu's Hospital has a specialized pediatrics department." Xu Zhaoyue was still talking to the dean.

When Huang Lian arrived, Xu Zhaoyue saw him. "You're here too?" Xu Zhaoyue was a little surprised, since she had previously thought that the Huang family father and son were the kind of eccentric researchers.

Yue Lanxing was waiting in the car when she heard crying outside. The child's cries were so shrill they could echo through the car through the glass. Although that was an exaggeration, Yue Lanxing couldn't ignore it.

"Why are you crying, little boy?" Yue Lanxing got out of the car and saw that it was a little boy, so she felt more at ease and squatted down to talk to him.

The little boy saw an adult get out of the car. At first, he was a little scared, but he felt that the adult was not a bad person. In the end, Yue Lanxing pulled him to his side.

"Are you a child from the orphanage? Or did you come with your parents?" Yue Lanxing patiently coaxed the child. After the little boy calmed down, he sobbed and said that he came with his mom and dad.

"Oh, I see. Hello, little friend." Xu Zhaoyue was relieved to see that it was a boy, and she took the little boy's hand and shook it back and forth.

"I knew you were taking so long to fix your car, turns out you picked up a kid. Could the director have left in such a hurry just now because of him?" Huang Lian was watching from the side, thinking to herself, thank goodness it was a boy.

Yue Lanxing pondered the words "car repair" for a moment. Was this an excuse Huang Lian had given him? He didn't ask, but nodded in agreement with Huang Lian, "Yes, I saw him as soon as it was fixed."

The other person happened to turn around and see this side, and immediately ran over, "Oh child, Momo, Momo!" The child saw them running this way and immediately smiled.

Yue Lanxing was immediately pleased to see the child, so she handed the child over.

"Daddy, Mommy." The little boy instinctively snuggled into the man's arms. The man took the boy and checked him over, only breathing a sigh of relief when he found nothing wrong.

"Oh, thank you so much, young man! My child had disappeared somewhere, and we were so worried. Thank goodness! May I ask your surname?"
