Wen Wan rushed back into the house, and Chen Jiu saw her moaning.

She squatted in front of Chen Jiu and sneered, "I'll take the cloth off for you, don't scream."

Then he threatened viciously: "Otherwise I'll tear your mouth apart, do you hear me?"

Chen Jiu nodded quickly, and Wen Wan took the rag off for him. However, as soon as she took it off, Chen Jiu frantically shouted, "Help—"

Fortunately, Wen Wan was prepared and quickly stuffed it back to him.

Then she raised her hand and slapped him twice, "I didn't mean to hit you in the first place, but you forced me to do it, didn't you?"

"If you scream like that again, I'll really smash your mouth! Do you hear me?"

Chen Jiu was so dazed by Wen Wan's slap that he saw stars. He was really puzzled. How could a woman be so powerful? His face was burning with pain.

Wen Wan then took the rag away from him again. Under Wen Wan's physical suppression, Chen Jiu finally learned his lesson and dared not shout anymore.

"I ask you, where is the key?"

Chen Jiu remained silent. Wen Wan raised her eyebrows and shouted fiercely, "I'm asking you a question! Where is the key? Do you want to be beaten again?"

Hearing the word "beaten", Chen Jiu shrank his neck suddenly and answered stumblingly: "I... on the table in my room."

After getting her answer, Wen Wan decisively stuffed the rag back, and then went to his room to find the key according to the location he said.

In fact, she could of course calculate the location of the key by herself. She was simply teaching Chen Jiu a lesson.

After she got the key, she hurried back to Su Ran and said, "I found the key. I'll open it for you right away."

After saying that, she quickly used the key to unlock her handcuffs and leg cuffs. She looked at Su Ran and asked softly, "Can you still stand up?"

Su Ran nodded gently, and Jiang Yan quickly reached out to support her. Perhaps because she hadn't walked for too long, Su Ran's legs were shaking, and she could only stagger to the door with Jiang Yan's support.

She smiled bitterly, looked up at the sky outside, and sighed softly, "I finally...finally walked out of this room."

"Jiang Yan, help Su Ran for a while." Wen Wan arranged softly, then walked towards Chen Jiu without looking back.

Jiang Yan looked at her receding back in confusion, but still listened to her and supported Su Ran and stayed where she was without moving.

Two minutes later, Wen Wan appeared, dragging Chen Jiu with one hand and supporting Chen's mother with the other, walking towards this side.

When Su Ran saw Chen Jiu and his mother, the memory of being beaten, scolded and insulted by them came back to her mind. She shrank her neck in fear, and Jiang Yan quickly patted her back to comfort her.

Wen Wan threw the two of them into the house, then pinched Chen's mother hard to wake her up.

"You don't really think that if I tie you two up for a few days, this matter will be over, right?" Wen Wan looked at the two of them and threatened them expressionlessly.

Chen Jiu and the other man struggled frantically, but could do nothing. They could only watch Wen Wan pick up the chains and fasten them on their hands and feet.

"Ugh! Ugh!" Chen Jiu tried to resist and wanted to shout, but he couldn't say anything. He struggled desperately, but it was useless.

After Wen Wan finished doing all this, she didn't rush to untie the ropes on them.

Instead, he sneered and said, "Do you know what this is called?"

"That's called giving someone a taste of their own medicine." After saying that, he pretended to be enlightened and said, "Oh, I forgot. You probably haven't been to school, so you probably don't understand."

She changed the subject and added, "But! Lack of education is not an excuse for you to commit crimes!"

"I'm telling you today that buying and selling women is illegal! She was never your property!"

"She is a living person! She cannot be bought or sold! Repent sincerely for what you have done!"

After hearing her words, Su Ran wrapped the sweater coat around her body again, tears streaming down her face.

"Our people will be here soon, and everyone in your village will probably be arrested by then."

"If we don't say it, I wonder if anyone will remember you?" After shocking them, Wen Wan continued to add fuel to the fire to scare them.

"No one will come to save you. If you're hungry, just eat the food in front of you. You prepared this food, didn't you? If you don't eat it, you'll starve."

"Maybe in a few days when I feel better, I will come and release you. Repent sincerely!" Wen Wan said and untied the ropes on them.

Then he turned around and pulled Su Ran and Jiang Yan out the door, not forgetting to close the door when he left.

Chen Jiu must have removed the rag himself, shouting frantically in the house, "Don't go! Let us out! Let us out!"

This room has the best soundproofing in the whole house. You can hardly hear any loud noise when the door is closed.

But Chen Jiu and her mother were still shouting frantically, "Let us out! Help, help!"

Wen Wan turned a deaf ear to this. Instead, Su Ran timidly asked, "Do we really have to keep them locked up forever? If they starve to death, will we have to go to jail?"

Before Wen Wan could answer, Jiang Yan couldn't help laughing, "Of course not. When our people come, we'll just take them away."

"Wanwan was just trying to scare them, why did you take it seriously?"

They took Su Ran back to the room, then went to find some hot water and cleaned Su Ran's body.

Wen Wan gently wiped her with a towel, but when she saw the large bruises on her body, her nose couldn't help but feel sore, "Does it hurt?"

Su Ran sniffed, then couldn't help crying out loud, and said in a broken voice, "It hurts, it really hurts."
