Chapter 3: The Stolen Six Years

He tore off a piece of his sleeve, "I don't have a brother like you anymore!" After saying that, he picked up the messy bouquet and left.

Inside the ward, slaps rang out. Su Yin, dragged to the ward by Pei Weixue, knelt beside his mother's bed with his head lowered. His cheeks were red and swollen. He slowly raised his head and looked into his mother's disappointed eyes, his mind dazed.

He touched Pei Weixue's somewhat frail face with his other hand, "Did the wind blow you?"

Pei Weixue took her hand away. "It's not that fragile. It's just that my lips are a little dry."

"Are your lips dry?" Su Yin looked around, then took Pei Weixue's hand and ran to the side path. When they were alone, he stared at Pei Weixue's lips and said, "I want to kiss you."
