Even in his sleep, Li Tingxi still had a furrowed brow, clearly not sleeping soundly, and looked somewhat haggard with dark circles under his eyes.

He didn't want Su Youling to see his current expression, so he simply pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly because he didn't want to lose everything. "Su Su, give me some more time. Once I've sorted everything out, you can stand openly by my side."

Su Youling sensed his inner turmoil and silently swallowed these innate negative emotions.

What she really wanted to say was that she came back to check on Li Tingxi's safety and to help him, not to become a burden to him.

Her thoughtfulness intensified Li Tingxi's feelings of love and guilt.

Both of them wanted to do more for each other, and tacitly presented their happiest selves to one another.

Li Tingxi gasped, pressed his tongue against his back teeth, narrowed his eyes dangerously, and without saying a word, took a big step forward, grabbed Su Youling who was trying to escape, and followed suit, using his seawater-soaked hands to tickle the soft flesh on her waist.

Su Youling was tickled and couldn't stop laughing. Tears welled up in her eyes from his teasing, and she wisely begged for mercy in a soft voice, "Li Tingxi, I was wrong."

Li Tingxi then stopped, picked her up and carried her on his shoulder, pretending to slap her bottom. "It's not enough to just say you're wrong. This is your punishment."

When Su Youling was put down, her face was flushed, whether from anger or embarrassment, it was hard to tell.

She retaliated by stomping on Li Tingxi's foot and then immediately ran away.

Li Tingxi quickly chased after him.

After playing around for a while, the two got tired and sat down to rest for a bit, quietly enjoying the sea breeze.

Li Tingxi turned his head and stared intently at Su Youling's still flushed profile, solemnly promising, "Su Su, don't worry, I will definitely marry you as soon as possible."
