Chen Jiayi heard the arguing coming from below, so she stood by the window and watched the mother and son arguing.

Aunt Wang knew about her relationship with Ding Haowen, and so did Li Yan.

Most of the arguments between the two stemmed from Li Yan's relationship with Ding Haowen.
