Nanzhi didn't want to waste any more time with him, so she shoved the helmet into his arms and said with a smile, "Do whatever you want, I'll spin around by myself."

He then stepped onto his bicycle and drove off.

Xu Qingzhou scratched his head in frustration. Why didn't he use the beautiful woman?

"Nanzhi."

The girl's voice drifted into Xu Qingzhou's ears on the sea breeze. He paused for a moment, then understood what Nanzhi meant. He put his helmet on the motorcycle and slowly followed. "Nanzhi, that's a beautiful voice. I'm Xu Qingzhou, and that's beautiful too."

Nanzhi rolled her eyes, not understanding where this person got his confidence, and ignored him.

"Nanzhi, let me take your picture."

Having ridden for too long, Nan Zhi had just stopped when Xu Qingzhou came to make his presence known.

Nanzhi: "No need."

Xu Qingzhou, however, always ignored what others said and took out his phone to start snapping pictures of Nanzhi.

Nanzhi: "..."

What was supposed to be a leisurely solo trip turned into something far from pleasant for Nanzhi due to Xu Qingzhou's appearance.

So when Xu Qingzhou's motorcycle ran out of gas, Nan Zhi rode her bicycle and left him further and further behind.

"Nanzhi, how could you leave me all alone? You're going to abandon me again."

The man's voice gradually faded into the distance until Nanzhi could no longer hear it, and of course, his figure slowly became a black dot.

After shaking off Xu Qingzhou, Nan Zhi finally regained her initial good mood, explored the island alone, and returned to the hotel.

The island is neither too big nor too small. After it became a tourist attraction, many business people came to do business. When Namzhi returned, she first took a nap.

Two hours later, it was already past five in the afternoon. Nan Zhi planned to go out for dinner, but as soon as she stepped out, she saw Xu Qingzhou with a resentful look on her face.

Nan Zhi: "..." A lingering ghost.

"Nanzhi, you are so disloyal! We are good friends, how could you abandon me and run away alone?"

Nanzhi didn't take Xu Qingzhou's complaints to heart:

"We're just acquaintances, not good friends."

Xu Qingzhou: "I don't care, I say so, you have to treat me to a meal."

Nanzhi didn't say anything, closed the door, and left.

"Hey, where are you going?"

"Have a meal."

Xu Qingzhou's eyes lit up. "I knew it, you care about me."

Nan Zhi automatically ignored Xu Qingzhou's idiotic remarks and found what was considered the best seafood restaurant nearby.

Xu Qingzhou shamelessly followed, ordering many of her favorite dishes. Nan Zhi, without any hesitation, said:

"Whoever orders more pays."

Xu Qingzhou: "..."

He wasn't short of money, but he wanted Nanzhi to treat him to a meal. He thought about how Nanzhi had rented a beat-up car before, so she probably didn't have the money.

After hesitating for a long time, she took out her wallet, which contained a stack of red bills. Nanzhi glanced at it and was surprised.

People still carry so much cash these days. Aren't Alipay and WeChat Pay better?

Xu Qingzhou simply pulled out a small stack from inside and handed it to Nanzhi:

"Hey, you'll treat me later."

Nan Zhi: "......" What kind of crazy operation is this?

"You're broke, aren't you? Here's some money for you, so you can treat me to dinner."

Nan Zhi raised an eyebrow and asked, "Brother, is this your first time going out?"

Xu Qingzhou nodded, and said with a hint of mystery, "Shh, I snuck out without telling my older brother, so keep your voice down."

Nanzhi was worried about this guy's intelligence. "Aren't you afraid I'm a fraud?"

Upon hearing this, Xu Qingzhou swallowed hard and asked nervously, "Then... are you?"

Nanzhi felt that her first impression of him could be changed. She thought he was a king, but he turned out to be a bronze.

This person is naive and has no sense of caution towards strangers. How dare he travel alone? The worst part is that he's carrying a wad of cash, as if he's afraid others won't know he's rich. His intelligence is truly worrying.

Seeing that Nan Zhi remained silent for a long time, Xu Qingzhou thought she really was a liar and couldn't help but feel nervous. She tentatively spoke:

"Are you really a fraud?"

Nan Zhi: "..." She sighed helplessly, rubbing her forehead, and stared at Xu Qingzhou, "Do I look like it?"

Xu Qingzhou shook her head. "It doesn't seem like it."

Nan Zhi: "That settles it then. If I were a liar, you'd probably be begging for food right now."

The boat ticket was collected by begging for food.

Xu Qingzhou breathed a sigh of relief, "That's good, that's good, I knew you weren't like that."

Seeing that he was truly foolish, Nanzhi pushed the money on the table in front of him. "Take it carefully, and don't show it to others. There are plenty of thieves in this world. I'll treat you to a meal. Don't worry, I have money."

Consider it an act of care for people with intellectual disabilities.

Xu Qingzhou pursed her lips, hesitated for a moment, stuffed the money into her wallet, and then put it back into her pocket.

Soon, the food was served, and the two ate their dinner in silence.

After paying the bill, Xu Qingzhou looked at Nan Zhi with surprise, "Why did you pay with your phone?"

Nanzhi turned to look at him. "Isn't this how everyone pays these days? Don't you have WeChat?"

Xu Qingzhou shook her head. "I don't know."

Nan Zhi couldn't help but wonder if Xu Qingzhou came from outer space.

“I just returned to China. Back home, I always use credit cards, not cash. I was worried there wouldn’t be any ATMs on the island, so I withdrew cash in advance.”
