Chapter 116 The Crisis Ends, Territory Expands

"Hurry up! Don't get caught!" the man urged in a low voice, his eyes gleaming with greed.

Similar scenes were playing out simultaneously in different locations. These old forces, like hyenas that have smelled blood, were secretly eroding Ning Yu's team's achievements.

Inside the factory, the atmosphere was oppressive and suffocating.

"Why?! They did nothing, so why should they be allowed to take away what we worked so hard for as soon as they arrive!" A veteran member slammed his fist on the table angrily and roared at the new members.

"Exactly! Where were they when we were fighting to the death?!"

"Quiet!" Ning Yu slammed his hand on the table, trying to quell the chaos. "What time is it now? You still have the mind to fight amongst yourselves?!"

"Chief, it's not that we want to fight amongst ourselves, it's just that..."

"There's nothing 'really' about it!" Ning Yu interrupted sharply. "I'll say it again, we're a team now! If we want to survive in this apocalypse, we must unite! Otherwise, we'll just have to wait to be devoured by those jackals and tigers!"

However, Ning Yu's words did not have the desired effect. Internal conflicts and suspicions, like a malignant tumor, had taken deep root in the hearts of some people.

"Hmph, that sounds nice! Who knows if you're biased towards them!" one of the veteran team members said sarcastically, his eyes filled with suspicion and hostility as he looked at Ning Yu.

"You..." Ning Yu was burning with anger, but he forcefully suppressed it. He knew that now was not the time for internal strife. The external threats had not yet been eliminated, and if things continued to fall into chaos internally, the consequences would be unimaginable.

"Bang!"

Suddenly, the factory door was flung open, and a team member covered in blood stumbled in. Pointing outside, he said in a trembling voice, "Leader... something bad has happened... they... they..."

"What happened to them?!"

"They...they're here..."

"How many of them came?" Ning Yu grabbed the team member and asked urgently. The team member's pupils dilated with fear, his lips trembled, but he couldn't speak.

"Speak! What exactly happened?!" A veteran team member grabbed the man by the collar and roared.

“They…they have a lot of people, and they’re armed with heavy weapons…” the team member said haltingly, “We…we can’t hold out…”

No sooner had he finished speaking than a series of deafening explosions and gunshots rang out from outside the factory. Ning Yu's face turned ashen; he knew that the old forces had come prepared, intending to wipe them out in one fell swoop.

"Leader, what do we do?!" Everyone panicked and looked at Ning Yu, their eyes filled with fear and helplessness.

Ning Yu took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. He knew that in such a critical moment, he couldn't afford to lose his composure. He looked around, his gaze finally settling on Mu Xue. "Mu Xue, you lead the men to break through through the back door. I'll cover the rear!"

"No! We'll go together!" Mu Xue refused resolutely, her beautiful eyes flashing with determination.

"Listen to me! This is not the time to act impulsively!" Ning Yu's tone left no room for argument. "I can only feel at ease if you have them with you!"

Mu Xue wanted to say something more, but Ning Yu stopped her with a firm look. She gritted her teeth, finally nodded, and turned to organize her men to prepare for a breakout.

"Everyone else, follow me!" Ning Yu shouted, charging towards the factory gate first. He knew today would be a fierce battle, but he would never back down; he wanted to fight for a chance to survive for his forces.

Kill! Leave no one alive!

Outside the factory, shouts of battle filled the air as Ning Yu led the remaining team members in a desperate struggle against the enemy. Gunfire, explosions, and screams mingled together, creating a scene reminiscent of hell on earth.

With his powerful superpowers and rich combat experience, Ning Yu fought his way through the enemy, but he was no match for the enemy and soon found himself at a disadvantage.

"Ning Yu, you can't escape now! Surrender obediently!" The leader who had been defeated by Ning Yu earlier was now looking at him triumphantly, his eyes filled with the pleasure of revenge.

Ning Yu wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, looked at him coldly, her eyes showing no fear, only a chilling killing intent.

"Ning Yu, look at this!" The leader pulled out a necklace from his pocket, the one Ning Yu had given to Mu Xue, which was still stained with blood.

“You…” Ning Yu’s pupils contracted sharply, and a strong sense of unease surged into his heart.

"Want to know her whereabouts?" The leader grinned cruelly. "Come with me, and I'll tell you!"

Ning Yu stared intently at the necklace, his clenched fists cracking. He knew he had no other choice…
