Amidst the swirling dust, Ning Yu's voice sounded particularly low, yet carried an undeniable firmness. The surviving team members struggled to their feet, supporting each other as they gathered together. Exhaustion and pain were etched on every face, but their eyes still shone with hope—a yearning for survival and a testament to their trust in Ning Yu.

"Mu Xue has discovered a weakness; the black figure's eyes may be its fatal flaw!" Ning Yu's voice wasn't loud, but everyone present heard him clearly.

"Eyes?" a team member repeated in a low voice, his tone tinged with doubt and hope. "But its eyes are so high off the ground, how are we supposed to attack them?"

“Yes, and it’s so fast, we’ve barely gotten close before it’s probably already…” Another team member’s voice was filled with worry.

Ning Yu took a deep breath. He knew his teammates' concerns were valid, but he also understood that this was their only hope. "I'll draw its attention, and you guys take the opportunity to flank it from the sides and rear, looking for a chance to attack its eyes!"

"No! That's too dangerous!" Mu Xue refused without even thinking. She couldn't let Ning Yu take the risk alone.

"There's no other way." Ning Yu grasped Mu Xue's hand, his tone firm. "Believe me, we can definitely defeat it!"

Seeing the determination in Ning Yu's eyes, Mu Xue knew she couldn't change his mind. She took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down. "Okay, we believe you! But you have to promise me you'll come back alive!"

Ning Yu nodded, his gaze sweeping over everyone in front of him. "Remember, we have only one goal: to survive! For ourselves, and for those comrades who have already sacrificed their lives!"

After a brief discussion, everyone's eyes hardened, showing no sign of hesitation. Ning Yu took a deep breath and resolutely charged towards the black figure. He deliberately released powerful energy fluctuations, provoking the terrifying monster.

"Come on! You beast!" Ning Yu roared, his voice filled with anger and defiance.

The black figure was indeed enraged. It let out a deafening roar, and its massive body transformed into a black lightning bolt, chasing after Ning Yu...

"Boom!"

Ning Yu's figure darted swiftly through the ruins, each attack from the black figure behind him carrying a devastating pressure, tearing the earth into jagged ravines. He dared not stop for a moment, running and dodging desperately, brushing past death time and time again.

"Damn it! This monster is getting faster and faster!" Ning Yu cursed under his breath. His stamina was nearing its limit, and the numerous wounds on his body were causing him excruciating pain. But he knew he couldn't give up. If he stopped, it would mean death, and it would mean the end of everyone's hopes.

"Roar—!" The black figure let out a deafening roar, seemingly mocking Ning Yu's powerlessness. It swung its enormous claws violently, the sharp tips tearing through the air with a piercing shriek, aiming straight for Ning Yu's back.

"Ning Yu, be careful!" Mu Xue's anxious voice came through the communicator, but Ning Yu didn't have time to turn around and could only instinctively lunge forward.

"laugh--"

The claws grazed Ning Yu's back, avoiding a fatal wound, but the sharp tips still left a deep gash that exposed bone. The intense pain made Ning Yu's vision go black, and he almost fainted.

"Damn it!" Ning Yu gritted his teeth, endured the excruciating pain, got up from the ground, and continued his desperate escape.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Mu Xue and her team members were cautiously approaching the black figure according to plan. They hid in the shadows of the ruins, taking each step with extreme care, afraid of alerting the terrifying monster.

"It'll be soon, it'll be soon..." Mu Xue said softly, her palms were sweaty, and her heart was pounding so hard it felt like it was going to jump out of her throat.

However, at this moment, the black figure suddenly stopped chasing Ning Yu. It slowly turned around, its scarlet single eye scanning the surroundings, as if it had sensed something.

"Oh no, it's spotted us!" one of the team members exclaimed, his voice filled with fear.

The black figure moved in the next second, lunging at the team member with astonishing speed.

"Watch out!" Mu Xue tried to warn him, but it was too late. The black figure's giant claws fell like lightning, leaving three deep, bone-revealing gashes on the team member's chest.

"Ah—" the team member screamed, flying backward and crashing heavily to the ground, his clothes stained with blood.

"Third brother!"

"Third Brother!" Mu Xue's eyes widened in horror as she watched her teammate fall into a pool of blood, his fate unknown. She could no longer bear it; the fear in her heart was replaced by a raging fire of rage. She charged towards the black figure without hesitation, her dagger gleaming coldly, attempting to buy her comrade a chance at life with her insignificant attack.

"Get out of my way!" The black figure seemed annoyed by Mu Xue's actions. It suddenly swung out a giant claw, swatting Mu Xue away as if she were a swatter for a fly. Mu Xue's slender body arced through the air before crashing heavily into a pile of hard rubble, spitting out a mouthful of blood that stained the ground red.

"Mu Xue!" Ning Yu, who was fleeing for his life in the distance, witnessed this scene. His heart felt as if it were being gripped tightly by an invisible hand, and intense pain spread throughout his body. His eyes were bloodshot, and flames of rage burned fiercely in his chest. He desperately mobilized the little plant energy left in his body, and the once emerald green vines were now covered with chilling black lines, as if they were enduring immense pain.
