Ning Yu wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. He knew he couldn't fall. Although the giant python's attack had been temporarily blocked, the danger was far from over. He needed to recover as quickly as possible to face the challenges ahead. Taking a deep breath, Ning Yu sat cross-legged, enduring the excruciating pain in his body, and began to regroup the mysterious power within him.

A pale golden light emanated from Ning Yu, a testament to his all-out effort to mobilize his energy. However, the giant python's previous attacks had inflicted too much damage on him, causing his energy flow to become intermittent, like a candle flickering in the wind, threatening to be extinguished at any moment.

"Don't waste your energy," Mu Xue said in a low voice while keeping a wary eye on the giant python. "Your injuries are too severe. Forcing yourself to recover now will only worsen your condition."

“I have to do this,” Ning Yu said through gritted teeth, large beads of sweat rolling down his forehead. “We have no way out.”

Seeing Ning Yu's determined gaze, Mu Xue fell silent. She ran to Ning Yu's side and gently placed her hand on his back, a faint warm current slowly flowing into Ning Yu's body. This was her special ability—Touch of Life, which, although not very useful in combat, had miraculous effects in healing.

Feeling that warm power, Ning Yu opened his eyes in surprise. He knew that Mu Xue's superpower was being used up in a lot of energy, yet she was still using her precious energy on herself under these circumstances.

"Don't get distracted!" Mu Xue said coldly, but there was a hint of gentleness in her tone. "Take your time to recover."

Ning Yu nodded, falling silent and focusing intently on guiding the flow of energy within his body. Mu Xue's life force, though faint, was like rain in the desert, nourishing his parched meridians and buying him precious time.

The giant python watched silently from the side, its scarlet eyes flashing with a cold light. It seemed to have lost patience with its prey, or rather, it sensed a threat from Ning Yu, a threat that made it uneasy.

The giant python waited no longer, opening its blood-red maw and charging towards Ning Yu and Mu Xue. Its massive body brought with it a foul stench, as if it wanted to devour them completely...

A foul stench swept over him, and the giant python, with its suffocating oppressive aura, swept in. Ning Yu suddenly opened his eyes, a glint of light flashing within them.

"It's too late!" he roared. Mu Xue also felt the approaching aura of death at the same time, but she did not back down at all. Instead, she protected Ning Yu behind her, her beautiful eyes flashing with a resolute light.

"Run!" Ning Yu tried to push Mu Xue away, but found that his weak body couldn't muster any strength. The giant python opened its blood-red maw, spewing out a foul stench, as if it would devour them in the next second.

"It's too late, prepare for battle!" Mu Xue grabbed Ning Yu's arm with her backhand, her slender fingers suddenly bursting with astonishing strength.

"I'll fight!" Ning Yu knew this wasn't the time to hesitate. He endured the excruciating pain and summoned the last bit of power within him. Pale golden light gathered in his hand, gradually forming the shape of a lightsaber—his fatal strike, a culmination of all his supernatural abilities.

However, faced with the enormous and terrifyingly powerful python, this faint light seemed utterly powerless. The python was incredibly fast; its massive body moved like a black lightning bolt, arriving before them in the blink of an eye.

"Roar—" A deafening roar echoed throughout the space. The giant python opened its blood-red maw, its sharp fangs gleaming coldly, and the shadow of death enveloped Ning Yu and Mu Xue...

At this critical moment, figures rushed in from afar, their eyes filled with anxiety and worry, and even more so with a resolute determination to die for their cause.

"leader!"

"Leader!" Amidst the heart-wrenching cries, a dozen figures, like arrows released from a bow, rushed in from all directions with a do-or-die determination.

"Protect the leader!" At the forefront, a burly man roared, his hands blazing with flames as he forcefully unleashed a wall of fire in an attempt to halt the giant python's advance.

Following closely behind, the others also unleashed their supernatural abilities. Ice spikes, vines, rocks—all sorts of attacks poured out like a storm. However, before the enormous and terrifyingly powerful python, these attacks seemed insignificant.

The giant python simply flicked its tail, neutralizing all the attacks. Its cold, vertical pupils remained unmoved, as if in its eyes these people were nothing more than ants, insignificant.

"Damn it!" The burly man felt powerless as he watched his attack being easily neutralized, but he did not back down. Instead, he used his superpower even more forcefully, because he knew that behind him was their leader whom they were fighting to the death to protect!

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Explosions rang out continuously as the team members charged forward one after another, using their own flesh and blood to build a fragile defensive line against the giant python. However, this defensive line was as fragile as paper in the face of the giant python's absolute power, and it was utterly vulnerable.

Each attack of the giant python claimed several lives, staining the earth red with blood and filling the air with a nauseating stench. Watching her fallen companions, Mu Xue's beautiful eyes filled with tears, but she bit her lip hard, refusing to cry out, for she knew this was not the time to weep!

"You guys go! I'll hold it off!" Ning Yu struggled to stand up, but due to his severe injuries, he coughed up another mouthful of blood.

"No! We'll go together!" Mu Xue held Ning Yu's hand tightly, her eyes filled with unwavering determination.

"Don't be foolish! Staying here will only lead to your deaths!" Ning Yu roared. He knew that in their current state, they were no match for the giant python. Rather than sacrificing themselves here, they should leave behind their bodies to avenge them in the future!
