Without a second thought, Ning Yu pulled Mu Xue behind him and said in a deep voice, "Protect yourself!" He then turned to face the enormous threat once more. The spot on the giant python's head where the golden light had struck was charred black, revealing the white bone beneath. But what was chilling was that the python was not dead; its cold, vertical pupils stared intently at Ning Yu, flashing with venomous resentment.

"Roar—" The giant python let out a deafening roar, seemingly wondering why this weak human could hurt it. Its massive body coiled up, crushing the surrounding trees with a sickening cracking sound, as if playing a tragic prelude to the impending battle.

Ning Yu took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. He knew this wasn't the time to be thankful; the giant python wasn't completely dead yet, and he had to seize the time to fully grasp this newfound power! He closed his eyes, focusing his attention on the surging power within his body. This power was like a rushing river, violent and uncontrollable, but Ning Yu could sense that beneath this violence lay a certain pattern, a certain rhythm.

He tried to sense the fluctuations of this power and adapt to its rhythm. Slowly, he seemed to grasp something. He stretched out his hand, and golden light once again gathered in his palm. This time, the light no longer scattered haphazardly, but flowed slowly with his will, eventually forming a golden blade of light, sharp and menacing.

The giant python snapped out of its brief moment of confusion and saw that Ning Yu seemed to be gradually mastering new power. It roared angrily and pounced on Ning Yu again!

"Ning Yu!" Seeing the giant python attack again, Mu Xue rushed towards it without hesitation, trying to buy Ning Yu more time... "Ning Yu!" But her strength alone was like a mayfly trying to shake a tree in front of such a behemoth. The giant python didn't even look at her, simply flicking its tail and sweeping Mu Xue aside.

"Mu Xue!" Ning Yu's eyes were bloodshot, but he knew that being distracted now would only lead him to utter ruin. He had to believe in Mu Xue, and even more so, he had to believe in himself! He forced himself to look away from Mu Xue and focus all his attention on the surging power within him.

The roar of the giant python, the cracking of trees, and Mu Xue's screams all seemed to be shut out, leaving Ning Yu's mind in complete silence. He felt as if he had entered a wondrous realm, where everything around him became slow and clear. He could clearly sense the flow of power within his body, feeling its every rise and fall, every tremor.

Following the newly discovered pattern, he guided this power within his body along a specific trajectory. With each cycle, the power became more docile and easier to control. Gradually, the golden light ceased its aimless flickering and became stable and bright, like stars shining in the night sky.

Ning Yu could feel the connection between himself and this power growing stronger, as if it had always been a part of his body. He could even sense the emotions within this power; it was no longer violent and uncontrollable, but filled with joy and excitement, like a child who had finally found home.

Just then, the giant python arrived in front of Ning Yu, its blood-red maw wide open, and a foul stench assaulted his nostrils...

"Ning Yu, be careful!" Mu Xue's heart-wrenching scream came from afar.

Ning Yu slowly opened his eyes, golden light shimmering in his black pupils. A slight smile played on his lips as he softly said, "It's over..."

The giant python's gaping maw, radiating a foul stench, snapped down, and Ning Yu could even feel the heat emanating from its mouth. At the critical moment, golden light erupted around him, forming a semi-transparent golden shield!

"Bang!"

A deafening roar shook the earth. The giant python's sharp teeth slammed into the shield, producing a sickeningly loud sound. Under the python's terrifying bite, several clearly visible cracks appeared on the seemingly indestructible golden shield!

"Click, click..."

Cracks spread like a spider web, threatening to completely shatter. Ning Yu suddenly felt an overwhelming pressure. He gritted his teeth and did his best to control the surging power within his body.

"Hold on...!" Ning Yu roared in a low voice, large beads of sweat sliding down his forehead.

He placed his hands on the shield, and a brilliant golden light shone forth! The previously shaky shield seemed to be infused with new power, and the spread of cracks gradually slowed down, but the giant python's attack remained fierce.

"Hiss hiss hiss..." The giant python twisted its massive body wildly, trying to shatter the shield completely with brute force. Its scarlet eyes flashed with a savage and greedy light, as if it would not stop until it swallowed Ning Yu whole.

Ning Yu felt his power rapidly depleting. He knew this couldn't go on; he had to end the battle as soon as possible! He tried to calm himself down, recalling the trajectory of the power he had sensed earlier, attempting to find a more effective way to control it.

Gradually, he realized that this force was like a rushing river, and he was the dam guiding its direction. What he needed to do was not to forcibly control the river's direction, but to go with the flow and guide its power to strike the giant python!

"Now!" Ning Yu's heart stirred. He removed his hands from the shield and quickly changed different hand gestures in the air.

As he moved, the previously steadily emitted golden light began to flicker, like breathing, full of rhythm...
