Seeing the giant python's hateful eyes, Ning Yu's heart tightened. He knew he had to be extremely vigilant. His strength was nearly depleted, and his body was riddled with wounds from the previous attacks. The giant python wouldn't let this opportunity pass.
A foul stench swept over them as the giant python, its massive body swirling with wind, charged towards Ning Yu once more! It opened its blood-red maw as if to devour the entire world, its sharp fangs gleaming coldly, intent on swallowing Ning Yu whole.
"Ning Yu! To the left!" Mu Xue's anxious shout came from afar.
Ning Yu instinctively rolled to the left, barely dodging the giant python's gaping maw. The stench almost overwhelmed him as the python brushed past him, the shockwave knocking him to the ground.
Before Ning Yu could even get up, the giant python's massive tail swept towards him with a whistling sound. Ning Yu was terrified and could only roll on the ground again, narrowly avoiding this fatal blow.
"boom--"
The giant python's tail slammed heavily onto the ground, sending rocks flying and the ground seeming to tremble. Ning Yu was shaken so badly that his blood surged, a sweet taste rose in his throat, and he almost spat out a mouthful of blood.
"Damn it!" Ning Yu cursed inwardly. He knew he was already at his limit, while the giant python was getting stronger and stronger. If this continued, he would surely be defeated.
The giant python seemed to have sensed Ning Yu's weakness. It let out a deafening roar and swung its massive body again, closing in on Ning Yu. Its eyes gleamed with cruelty and mockery, as if it were enjoying the prey's final struggle.
Ning Yu struggled to his feet, his body swaying precariously, but he still gripped his weapon tightly, his gaze fixed firmly on the giant beast before him.
"Ning Yu, behind us!" Mu Xue's voice came again, trembling with despair.
Ning Yu turned around abruptly, only to see the giant python raising its head high, its blood-red maw wide open, foul-smelling liquid dripping from its fangs, as if it were about to devour him at any moment...
"Ning Yu!" Mu Xue's voice stopped abruptly, leaving only the giant python's chilling roar echoing in the wilderness.
"Ning Yu!" Mu Xue's voice trembled with fear. She watched helplessly as the giant python's gaping maw swallowed Ning Yu whole. She frantically scanned her surroundings, hoping to find anything that could help Ning Yu, even a slightly sharp stone. But all she could see were the ruins left by the python's rampage, bare rocks, and scorched earth.
"Damn it!" Mu Xue slammed her fist on the ground, despair and anger churning within her. She couldn't just stand by and watch Ning Yu be devoured by the giant python; she had to do something!
"Ning Yu, to the left! It's going to attack your left!" Mu Xue forced herself to calm down. She knew that the only thing she could do now was to provide Ning Yu with information so that he could avoid the giant python's attack as much as possible.
Upon hearing Mu Xue's warning, Ning Yu almost instinctively rolled to his left. The foul-smelling wind whistled past his nose, and the giant python's gaping maw almost closed against his body, its sharp fangs even tearing at the hem of his clothes.
Seeing that it had missed again, the giant python roared angrily, its massive tail sweeping out and smashing a nearby boulder to pieces. Shards of stone flew everywhere, and Ning Yu, unable to dodge in time, was struck by several small stones, a burning pain immediately shooting through his arms and legs.
"Ning Yu, watch out!" Mu Xue's heart was in her throat. She saw the giant python turn around and pounce on Ning Yu again.
Ning Yu knew he was at his limit, but he still didn't give up. He gritted his teeth, enduring the excruciating pain in his body, and struggled to dodge the giant python's attacks. However, his movements were getting slower and slower, and his strength was nearing its limit.
"Ning Yu, how are you?" Mu Xue's voice was full of worry and anxiety.
Ning Yu didn't answer. He just stared intently at the giant beast before him, his mind racing as he tried to think of a solution. He knew this couldn't go on. He tried to gather the last bit of strength in his body, but the power was like a dried-up spring, difficult to gather again.
“Ning Yu…” Mu Xue’s voice trembled. She seemed to realize something, and her voice trailed off, leaving only a desperate silence and the terrifying shadow of the giant python drawing ever closer. Ning Yu stared at those golden, vertical pupils filled with the aura of death, a bitter smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. He muttered to himself, “It seems…”
"It seems..." Ning Yu's voice was low and hoarse, as if squeezed from the depths of his throat, filled with helplessness and resentment. He knew this couldn't go on. He tried to gather the last bit of strength in his body, but the power was like a dried-up spring, difficult to gather again. The giant python seemed to sense Ning Yu's weakness. It stopped attacking and looked down at Ning Yu from its height, like a cat playing with a mouse, its golden vertical pupils flashing with cruelty and mockery.
"Roar—" The giant python let out a deafening roar, and a foul stench assaulted Ning Yu's nostrils, making him feel nauseous. Its massive body moved again, like a black lightning bolt, lunging towards Ning Yu. Ning Yu tried to dodge, his body exhausted, but he stumbled due to fatigue, and this delay cost him the best opportunity to evade.
"Boom—" Ning Yu couldn't dodge in time and crashed heavily into a dead tree. The immense impact made him dizzy and his vision went black. He struggled to stand up, but found that his body was no longer under his control. The giant python wouldn't let this golden opportunity pass. It opened its blood-red maw, its sharp fangs like bare white bones, reeking of a nauseating stench, and viciously bit down at Ning Yu.
