Transmigrator Ning Yu relies on his special abilities and a system to survive on Earth after a nuclear war. He meets the older, alluring Mu Xue and confronts hypocritical ability organizations, ult...
Looking at the two indignant men before him, Ning Yu felt a surge of warmth in his heart. He knew that he was no longer alone on this arduous path of revenge.
"Dr. Zhao, Brother Wu, I need your help." Ning Yu took a deep breath, his eyes resolute. "I want everyone to know the truth!"
Dr. Zhao nodded and said calmly, "We need an opportunity, an opportunity that can convince everyone."
“Opportunity…” Ning Yu pondered, when a thought suddenly flashed through his mind.
Three days later, the central plaza of the camp was bustling with people; all the survivors had gathered there. Today was the monthly routine meeting, where the management team would brief everyone on the recent situation.
In the crowd, Ning Yu stood in a corner, calmly watching the high-spirited management team on the podium, a cold smile playing on his lips.
"Everyone, please be quiet!" A tall man walked to the front of the stage. He was Captain Zhang, the leader of the management team.
Captain Zhang gave a brief report on the recent situation and then began his routine boasting about the management team's achievements, which was met with applause from the audience.
Just then, a clear voice suddenly rang out, "Captain Zhang, I have a document here that you might want to share with everyone."
All eyes turned to the source of the sound, where Ning Yu walked out from the crowd, holding a document in his hand.
"Ning Yu? What are you doing here?" Captain Zhang's expression changed slightly, and a hint of panic flashed in his eyes.
Ning Yu ignored him and walked straight to the front of the stage, displaying the document in his hand to everyone. "This document records the evidence of how the management team suppressed people with superpowers for personal gain, and even sacrificed the lives of others!"
The crowd immediately erupted in discussion.
Ning Yu cleared her throat and began to recount the injustices she had suffered and the truth she had uncovered, presenting irrefutable evidence.
He pointed to the data on the document, his voice loud and firm, "These data are all records from Dr. Zhao's laboratory. They can prove that my superpowers were deliberately suppressed, and that my training grounds were also tampered with!"
He surveyed the crowd below, his eyes sharp as knives. "Furthermore, those rumors about me spreading panic and sowing discord were all deliberately fabricated by someone!"
As Ning Yu recounted the story, the initial murmurs in the crowd gradually faded away, replaced by an uproar.
Those who had believed the rumors now bowed their heads in shame, finally realizing how long they had been deceived and how wrong they had wronged such an outstanding person.
“Ning Yu…” A thin figure squeezed to the front of the crowd, looking at Ning Yu with deep apology, “I’m sorry, we misunderstood you…”
"Ning Yu, we are sorry for you..." More and more people stood up and apologized to Ning Yu.
Looking at the sincere faces before him, Ning Yu was overwhelmed with mixed emotions. He knew he had finally waited for this day, he had finally… “…Finally…” Ning Yu choked up, unable to speak any more. He knew he had finally waited for this day, he had finally cleared his name!
Captain Zhang was pale, cold sweat beading on his forehead. He opened his mouth, wanting to defend himself, but found himself speechless. Ning Yu's evidence was irrefutable, leaving him no room for denial.
"Captain Zhang, what else do you have to say?" Brother Wu stepped forward, pointing at Captain Zhang and angrily shouting, "How dare you stand here? You are a disgrace to us survivors!"
An angry roar erupted from the crowd, with people demanding severe punishment for Captain Zhang and his management team.
Ultimately, Captain Zhang and his cronies were driven off the stage by the angry crowd. They had once enjoyed the glory that power brought, but now they had fallen to the point of being despised by everyone.
After the truth came to light, Ning Yu's reputation was not only restored, but became even more renowned. He once again became a hero admired by all, and his deeds were widely praised.
Standing in the center of the crowd, Ning Yu felt a surge of emotions as he basked in their support. He knew that all of this was inseparable from the help of Dr. Zhao and Brother Wu, and even more so from his own perseverance and hard work.
"Ning Yu, you did a great job." Dr. Zhao walked to Ning Yu's side, patted him on the shoulder, and his eyes were full of satisfaction.
"It's all thanks to you and Brother Wu," Ning Yu said gratefully. "Without your help, I'm afraid..."
"Alright, let's not dwell on the past," Brother Wu laughed heartily. "The most important thing now is for us to unite and work together to build our home!"
A burst of enthusiastic cheers erupted from the crowd once again. People were filled with hope for the future; they believed that under Ning Yu's leadership, they would surely overcome all difficulties and rebuild their homes!
However, just as Ning Yu was basking in the joy of victory, Dr. Zhao pulled him aside and said seriously, "Ning Yu, I have something very important to tell you..."
