The female protagonist transmigrated into a novel she wrote herself, playing the role of a vixenish supporting character. In the book, she caused trouble until her death on the streets, and her act...
Gu Bei and Cheng Jinyan kept quiet and didn't say anything.
Lu Feng hugged her and whispered, "I'm sorry, I apologize to you. I shouldn't have ignored her actions."
Lin Wanwan didn't speak; she was indeed in a bad mood. The inexplicable hostility these women showed her made her very uncomfortable.
Whether it's Jin Ling, Yin Meiyue, or Zhou Mei and Wen Nuan.
She doesn't like this whole female rivalry thing; she just wants to focus on doing what she wants to do, and not let anyone cause her trouble.
Without Lin Wanwan enlivening the atmosphere, the dinner table was much quieter than usual.
Bai Ying was just away; she and Bai Qi returned from outside during dinner.
"Why are you so quiet today? Are you on your period?"
Lin Wanwan rolled her eyes. "Eat your food."
"Tomorrow's the weekend, you don't have to go to work, right? School starts soon, aren't you going shopping with me?"
Lin Wanwan thought for a moment, "I'll go with you tomorrow morning? I have things to do at the company in the afternoon."
What happened to the company?
"It's alright, go eat your food."
After returning home, Lin Wanwan, unusually, did not linger on the sofa and wait for Lu Feng to urge her to wash up.
After washing up, Lin Wanwan went straight to her desk.
Lu Feng glanced at her as he entered the bathroom.
Lin Wanwan wasn't in the mood to care about anything else; she spread out a piece of paper and started writing.
Writing can calm the mind, and Lin Wanwan felt she needed to quell the resentment in her heart.
The company is indeed in some trouble. Several women's clothing stores have recently opened in Beijing, near her store.
It's similar to his clothes, but he's in business, you can't stop him from doing business, there's no such logic anywhere.
Because the clothing styles are similar and even the store names are similar, many people assume it's their store.
Many customers who bought counterfeit items encountered quality problems with the clothes and even went to the stores to demand compensation.
If this issue isn't resolved, it will escalate and make it impossible to do business in the store.
The solution would be for the company to suffer in silence and have to compensate the company.
This is considered plagiarism and copyright infringement, but even in later generations, such a lawsuit would go on endlessly. Even if the company wins, it will at most receive a sum of compensation.
Those who sell counterfeit goods continue to sell them, making a fortune.
Lin Wanwan had those stores investigated, and it turned out that Li Jun and Yin Meiyue were behind them.
These two persistent little devils are still haunting her.
That's why Lin Wanwan was so irritable.
By the time Lu Feng arrived, Lin Wanwan had already written three pages.
"Do you want to sleep?"
Lin Wanwan nodded, "I'll go to sleep after I finish writing."
Lying in bed, Lu Feng held her and asked, "Is the situation at the company very troublesome?"
"No, it can be resolved. I was wrong today; I shouldn't have said those things to you."
Lu Feng remained silent behind her, and he didn't say anything more.
Lin Wanwan didn't sleep well that night, and kept having dreams.
The dream was bizarre and fantastical, with everyone's face contorted in a grotesque way.
She also dreamt that He Yumei, with a distorted face, asked her why she had taken her daughter's body, saying that she was an imposter.
When Lin Wanwan opened her eyes, it was just getting light. She was covered in sweat, and Lu Feng was sleeping soundly beside her, holding her in his arms.
Removing the hand from her waist, Lin Wanwan prepared to get up and take a shower.
Lu Feng pulled her close and asked softly, "Why are you up so early?"
"I woke up because of the heat, I'm going to take a shower."
Lu Feng held her tightly and kissed her neck.
"It's not dirty, let go of me, I'm going to take a shower."
It took Lu Feng a long time to let go.
Lin Wanwan couldn't fall asleep after washing up, so she opened the window to let in some fresh air.
I didn't sleep well and have no energy at all.
Lin Wanwan was about to go to the living room to make herself a cup of coffee.
The coffee beans were brought back by Lu Anyang, and Lin Wanwan liked them quite a bit. It was just the two of them drinking them at home.
Lin Wanwan walked into the living room and saw that the lights were on.
Peeking inside, I saw Lu Anyang sitting in the living room.
Lu Anyang also looked up and saw her.
"Why are you up so early?"
Lin Wanwan smiled and replied, "Why is Big Brother up so early? Did you not sleep all night?"
"I did sleep, but I woke up quite early."
Seeing her grinding coffee beans, Lu Anyang said rather bluntly, "Give me a cup."
"Um."
The two didn't say anything more. Lin Wanwan liked making pour-over coffee; she felt great taking it slow and steady.
"Brother, do you want some milk today?"
Lu Anyang hesitated for a moment, "Add less, no sugar."
Lin Wanwan drank it iced, without milk or sugar.
Lu Anyang saw this and asked, "Didn't you sleep well?"
"Yeah, I woke up because of the heat, and I couldn't fall back asleep, so I just got up."
Lu Anyang took a sip of coffee and nodded. "Your skills are very good."
"Thanks."
He looked at her and continued, "You don't look well. Did you have a nightmare?"
"Well, I guess so."
The two of them said nothing more.
Lu Anyang was looking at something, but Lin Wanwan didn't ask.
I sat on the sofa, staring blankly out the window.
After finishing the last sip of coffee in her cup, Lin Wanwan stood up to leave.
Where to?
"Make something to eat in the kitchen, I'm hungry."
Lu Anyang smiled. "Is there any for me?"
"If you eat it, then you'll get it."
Lu Anyang smiled and said, "Eat? I've been hungry for ages."
Lin Wanwan went to the kitchen by herself, but she didn't actually do anything.
She fried two eggs to make sandwiches, then mashed some hard-boiled eggs and mixed them into a fruit salad. Lin Wanwan made her own vinaigrette, which wasn't as good as the kind sold in supermarkets in her previous life, but it was still pretty good.
She took the food to the living room.
