Du Hui didn't even bother to glance at Zhan Pingping. He shoved a large bag of medicine into Ming Jiayi's hands and then said seriously,

"Now that your headache is gone, come with me to the competition!"

The unusual noise downstairs caught the attention of the teachers upstairs.

They all inquired about the situation in the teachers' group.

After figuring out the whole story, and under the principal's instructions, several department heads went down together to disperse the crowd.

The principal already knew that Ming Jiayi and Gu Shaojin were at the school, but Gu Shaojin said she didn't want others to know, so the principal didn't invite them to his office.

But now that everyone knows...

So everything will be fine once I go to the office, right?

The principal walked to a small office next to the monitoring room and gently knocked on the door.

Gu Shaojin sat lazily on the sofa, scrolling through his phone. When he heard the knock on the door, he coldly replied, "Come in."

The principal opened the door and went in, then greeted Gu Shaojin respectfully, "President Gu, hello."

Gu Shaojin glanced sideways at the person who came in, and then immediately took off his sunglasses.

Although he didn't really want to, he still politely stood up and shook hands with the principal, saying, "Hello, Principal. I've heard so much about you."

The principal smiled kindly at Gu Shaojin, "How's the surveillance footage coming along, Ms. Gu? Why don't you come to my office for a cup of tea first?"

Gu Shaojin glanced outside the door.

The two of them haven't come back yet...

The principal was a shrewd person; he immediately saw through Gu Shaojin's concerns.

"President Gu, please rest assured, Jiayi and another person who came with you are on the first floor. I will ask the teacher to call them up together in a moment."

Gu Shaojin nodded calmly, "Okay."

Ming Jiayi looked at Du Hui with a helpless expression.

"Why do you insist on competing with me? If you want to compete, you can just crack the program I wrote."

Du Hui wouldn't listen to Ming Jiayi's excuses at all; he stared at her with suspicion.

"Are you looking down on me by refusing to compete with me?"

Ming Jiayi opened her mouth in shock, "I didn't say that! Don't get hung up on that."

"I'm not being stubborn. If you're not looking down on me, then come and compete with me," Du Hui said impatiently.

He had never been to this school before, so he didn't know how to get around it.

He searched for ages before finally finding a pharmacy outside the school.

I rushed back with the medicine because I wanted Ming Jiayi to try and crack his program as soon as possible.

Now Ming Jiayi is being indecisive again.

This is such a hassle.

Just then, a teacher who came down from upstairs to disperse the crowd saw Ming Jiayi.

The teacher walked enthusiastically toward Ming Jiayi, "Hey, Jiayi."

Ming Jiayi turned her head and glanced at the teacher.

She remembered it.

This is the original owner's tutor.

He had helped the original owner a lot in both life and performance.

He is a very good person.

Ming Jiayi greeted her warmly, "Hello, teacher! It's been a long time!"

The teacher smiled radiantly, held Ming Jiayi's hand, and then gently patted the back of Ming Jiayi's hand.

"Wow, a big star! Have you been especially busy lately?"

"I've been quite busy lately. But I've been mostly dealing with gossip," Ming Jiayi replied with a smile.

Du Hui stood to the side, looking impatient.

Why are there so many problems?

Are these two going to start chatting soon?

"Let's chat another time. Now come with me to the competition."

Du Hui stepped forward, grabbed Ming Jiayi, left her a perfunctory remark, and then pressed the elevator button to leave.

Ming Jiayi looked at Du Hui with a completely bewildered expression.

Wasn't his behavior a bit too extreme?

It seems that Gu Shaojin was right after all.

If she doesn't agree, Du Hui will definitely keep pestering her.

Are all geniuses this eccentric? It's utterly baffling!

The two of them had known each other for less than 5 hours.

"Can someone as calm as Gu Shaojin really tolerate your temper? Why would he ask you to maintain Gu Corporation's network security? I don't understand."

Du Hui pouted, looking aggrieved, then looked at Ming Jiayi with a mixture of sincerity and annoyance and said...

"I've never met such a respectable opponent in my entire life. I beg you, please fight me. I apologize for my impulsive behavior just now, okay?"

"I just went to buy you medicine and searched everywhere, I was so anxious! And now you're dawdling around here. It's so annoying! It's like being stuck in a coding rut!"

Looking at Du Hui's almost insane attitude, Ming Jiayi helplessly rubbed her forehead.

However, it seems that she did indeed act out the scam at Duhui first...

She glanced at the teacher, then at Zhan Pingping, and said somewhat shyly,

"I'm sorry... I have to go up and compete with him..."

The teacher smiled kindly, the wrinkles around her eyes becoming more pronounced with that smile. "Okay, it's alright."
