Night falls.

The suburbs are exceptionally quiet at night, with only a few bird calls and the rustling of leaves outside the window. The dim wall lamps shine into the room, making it quiet and warm.

Jody lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

I can’t sleep. I really can’t sleep.

As soon as she closed her eyes, the strange yellow paper appeared in her mind. When she thought of the scene outside the window during the day, an indescribable sense of panic surged over her like a tide, and the dull feeling of drowning almost made it difficult for her to breathe.

She took a deep breath, turned sideways, stared at the jar on the table for a long time, but still couldn't help it, sat up, walked to the table and picked it up.

She looked around but didn't find anything special on the outside of the jar.

There was only a faint candlelight in the corridor of the villa in the dark night. Jody walked towards Qiao Xi's door with light steps, put his hand on the handle and turned it gently, but the door was locked.

Jody had no choice but to whisper, "Qiao Xi? Are you asleep?"

The room was silent for a long while before Qiao Xi's calm voice came: "What's wrong? I'm going to sleep. Let's talk tomorrow if you have anything."

"It's okay, I just came to ask." Hearing this, Jody didn't want to disturb him, so she walked back to her door, but still turned around to take a look out of concern.

Is it an illusion?

Why does Qiao Xi's voice sound... a little excited?

She shook her head, forced herself to stop thinking about it, and then went into the room.

In the room across the wall, Qiao Xi knelt on the ground, her head lowered and her back arched, her hands on her thighs, showing a humble posture. The man's eyes quietly swept over the girl on the ground, no emotion visible in his eyes. He just slowly reached out his hand and grabbed her neck, slowly applying force with his slender fingers.

"Do you know me?"

His voice was low and hoarse, without any emotion, but his tone was dangerously cold.

Although the male ghost has possessed the girl, the physical pain is real.

Seeing that she couldn't breathe, all the energy and blood in her body rushed to her head. The girl's originally delicate face twisted little by little, and changed into all kinds of changes. Finally, it turned into the pale face of a middle-aged man.

But the male ghost showed no expression of pain when he was strangled. Instead, he looked loyal, as if it was a great honor.

His expression was crazy and obsessed, and he spoke softly:

"Yes, Master, I am your most loyal servant, Dadong."

But after hearing what he said, the man's eyes remained indifferent, without any emotion, and the strength in his hands did not relax.

Seeing this, Dadong's eyes flashed with disappointment, and he said respectfully: "Master, you are Ye Jingyu, the eldest master of the Ye family. You may have lost your memory now, but it doesn't matter. Please eat me. I beg you to eat me."

As he spoke, the corners of his mouth suddenly curled up into a strange arc.

"As long as you eat me, you will regain all your strength and remember everything."

I can also remember that damn foreign woman.

Ye Jingyu didn't say anything, but just lowered his eyes and kept tightening his strength. When he felt the beating pulse under his hand slowly weakening, a hint of joy flashed across his eyes.

The middle-aged male ghost slowly rolled his eyes, and blood was oozing from his eyes, nose, lips and ears.

——This is the body welcoming death.

The fresh scent of the soul made Ye Jingyu's body move slightly. He moved his lips and finally spoke: "Sacrifice the soul of this body to me."

He was referring to Josie's spirit, not the male ghost's spirit.

Hearing this, a trace of resentment and jealousy flashed across the male ghost's eyes.

He was jealous that Qiao Xi could be enjoyed by the young master.

As soon as she finished speaking, a white mist floated out from the woman's body. The misty white mist floated in the air and was instantly absorbed by the black mist around Ye Jingyu.

After absorbing the black air, the man's originally empty face instantly solidified, and his features finally became clear. He shook off the person under him and looked down at his hands. His pale and slender hands were now cast a shadow by the light.
