He reached out and gripped the wooden plaque in front of his chest through his clothes, feeling his heart pounding faster and faster.

Wang Taobo's words kept echoing in Yin Huaizhu's ears the whole way.

The previously blurred veil and mist suddenly parted, revealing a bright moon.

A day has passed, and since Yin Huaizhu went upstairs, Hang Suisui has not seen his room door open.

He didn't even come down to eat.

She missed lunch and dinner, skipping two out of three meals a day, which inevitably made Hang Suisui a little worried.

She went to the restaurant and asked the maid to go to the kitchen to prepare fresh food according to Yin Huaizhu's usual light taste and bring it to her.

The kitchen staff were quick; a small, elegant meal of five dishes and a soup was served in no time.

"I'll do it."

Hang Suisui took the tray from the maid and turned to walk upstairs.

Hang Sui Sui took a hand and knocked on Yin Huai Zhu's room door.

After a few knocks, there was no response.

Even when you're busy, you still need to eat.

Hang Suisui knocked on the door again: "Yin Huaizhu, are you there?"

A girl's clear, bright voice drifted in from outside the door.

Lying back in the chair, motionless, Yin Huaizhu's eyelashes trembled slightly as she closed her eyes.

"If you don't open the door, I'm coming in."

Yin Huaizhu withdrew her icy aura, clenched her fists, and got up to walk towards the door.

But before they had taken more than a few steps, a slender figure appeared in the room.

Why didn't you turn on the light?

As they were speaking, the crystal chandelier above their heads suddenly lit up.

Yin Huaizhu's voice was slightly hoarse: "I accidentally fell asleep."

Hang Suisui carried the tray and quickly walked a few steps to place it on the table in the room.

"I was wondering why you hadn't come down all day and hadn't eaten."

Yin Huaizhu stepped forward and watched as Hang Suisui bent down to place the food from the tray onto the table one by one, and then put the tray aside.

Hang Suisui straightened up: "Eat quickly, you haven't eaten all day."

Yin Huaizhu gazed at Hang Suisui, his eyes filled with unspoken emotions. He sat silently at the table and glanced at the food.

Urged on by Hang Suisui, he slowly picked up his chopsticks and began to eat.

When Yin Huaizhu eats, her movements are slow and meticulous, and every bite of food is like savoring the most precious delicacy in the world.

The chewing sound was almost inaudible, and his posture was extremely elegant.

His eyes were fixed on the food on the table, and he never looked up from beginning to end, as if only he and the delicious food in front of him existed.

Hang Suisui sat opposite Yin Huaizhu, watching her eat without disturbing her, who was not even looking up.
