Upon hearing this, Hang Suisui looked at the fragments with suspicion.

A thick-walled, blue-and-white, multicolored ceramic cup that won't break if dropped on the ground—how could it possibly explode on its own?

Hang Suisui glanced at Yin Huaizhu, but couldn't discern anything unusual in his expression.

What kind of blatant lies is he spouting?

Yin Huaizhu lowered her eyes and smiled as if nothing had happened, watching Hang Suisui's delicate, white fingertips that she had just been counting on.

He changed his teacup, poured himself a fresh cup of tea, and took a small sip.

With a light, natural laugh, he asked, "The key question is, what is it?"

Looking at Yin Huaizhu's smiling gaze into her dark eyes, Hang Suisui felt a strange chill run down her spine for some reason.

She unconsciously straightened her back and stammered out the two words she hadn't finished saying earlier: "...deep affection."

"Smack—!"

The thick-walled blue-and-white polychrome ceramic cup broke again.

It shattered again in Yin Huaizhu's palm.

Two of the twelve Flower Goddess Cups are broken.

The tea flowed from Yin Huaizhu's large palm and between his fingers onto the table, leaving a few water stains hanging precariously on the edge.

Yin Huaizhu's calm voice rang out again: "An unexpected incident."

Hang Suisui secretly widened her eyes as she watched Yin Huaizhu nonchalantly clean the ceramic shards from her palm again.

The shards were sharp, but they didn't cut my palm in the slightest.

She secretly took a breath. This guy, does he practice Iron Palm?

Hang Suisui, who was staring at Yin Huaizhu's palm, suddenly heard a soft sigh from the person involved.

She couldn't help but look up, and Yin Huaizhu was smiling at her.

He still had that gentle and mild expression.

"Have you met Huo Zhou?"

Upon hearing this, Hang Suisui immediately shifted her attention away from the cup.

Her mind raced: "You were quite busy during that time. Qin Yu occasionally came to visit me, and that's how we met."

Have you met once?

Yin Huaizhu smiled faintly. He suddenly stood up, walked to Hang Suisui, bent down and looked directly into Hang Suisui's eyes.

"Eight-pack abs, V-line, broad shoulders and narrow waist..."

As he spoke, Yin Huaizhu spread his arms and placed them on the armrests on either side of the chair, leaning closer.

His voice was low and he continued slowly, "The legs... are still long..."

As Yin Huaizhu spoke, she took a deep breath: "You saw it with your own eyes?"

The broad body pressing down on him, the deep sense of oppression, and those slightly narrowed, dark eyes all made Hang Suisui's hair stand on end, and a chill ran straight to the top of her head.

Hang Suisui opened her mouth: "I............."

She had seen it with her own eyes, in the character introductions in the script.

Yin Huaizhu lowered his eyebrows and asked, "Hmm?"

It's getting colder.

Hang Suisui unconsciously rubbed the goosebumps on her arms.

Winter has truly arrived, and the weather is getting cold.

You should put on more clothes.

Hang Suisui looked up, her face serious: "I heard it from Qin Yu, she saw it with her own eyes!"

To make it seem more real, Hang Suisui kept nodding to increase credibility.

Seeing the scrutinizing look in Yin Huaizhu's eyes, Hang Suisui quickly added, "I'm not a liar!"

His face was tense, his expression resolute.

Yin Huaizhu pursed her pale lips, then heard Hang Suisui continue, "I asked you about Huo Zhou because I think if Qin Yu were to be with him, it wouldn't be a bad deal..."

The sincerity in his tone certainly didn't sound like he was lying.

Yin Huaizhu's tall figure completely overshadowed Hang Suisui, and his hot breath lightly brushed against Hang Suisui's face. She turned her head slightly, feeling somewhat uneasy, but her fingertips unconsciously clenched her sleeves.

Yin Huaizhu looked at it for a while and then, after a moment of contemplation, withdrew her hand and straightened up.

That chilling feeling vanished without a trace in an instant.

"I see." Yin Huaizhu raised an eyebrow thoughtfully. "Qin Yu is certainly not at a loss."

He raised the corners of his mouth slightly, stepped back onto the chair next to him, and looked at Hang Suisui with a half-smile.

"But why are you so interested in their relationship?" Yin Huaizhu asked deliberately.

Hang Suisui felt a tightness in her heart when she heard Yin Huaizhu ask this question, not knowing why.

She sat up straight and explained, "I'm just checking on Qin Yu's abilities. After all, I treat her like a younger sister, and her happiness is something I can't be careless about."

A subtle, profound meaning flashed in Yin Huaizhu's eyes, and he said softly, "I see..."

Hang Suisui nodded quickly, then looked up into Yin Huaizhu's deep eyes: "That's it!"

Yin Huaizhu chuckled softly, then picked up the teacup on the table and slowly began to drink.

After being a thief for so long, it's better not to ask questions, because once you do, you always feel inexplicably guilty. Hang Suisui breathed a sigh of relief.

Think about it, Yin Huaizhu couldn't possibly know her secret; he was just asking casually.

Hang Suisui lowered her head and fiddled with the straw in the new juice, taking a bite every now and then. Two small front teeth marks were imprinted on the white straw.

Like two tiny crescent moons.

Upon seeing this, Yin Huaizhu's smile deepened.

He chuckled softly, his gaze falling on Hang Suisui's slender, delicate fingers, which were holding the straw.

Hang Suisui asked in surprise, "What are you laughing at?"

Yin Huaizhu's eyes softened, and her voice lowered slightly: "So what do you think of me?"

Hang Suisui raised her head and met Yin Huaizhu's gaze: "Huh?"
