Chapter 191 Sleeping

Qiao Susu was quickly carried by Luka to the private airship, with Labeli and Sang Yan following closely behind.

First, the medical team gave her a comprehensive examination, and then Liberi had more than a dozen of her favorite meals and snacks brought to her. The man insisted on not letting her eat anything and fed her every bite.

Sang Yan picked some blooming flowers from somewhere and placed them on the head of her bed. There were still dewdrops on the petals, which were full of vitality and filled the room with freshness.

Luka slept with her in the medical cabin. Smelling his familiar scent again made Qiao Suisui feel at ease. She hadn't dared to sleep when she was locked up in the base before, but now she could finally get a good night's sleep.

He had previously kept Anubis's capture a secret from Qiao Suisui because she was pregnant and he didn't want to upset her. He was also betting that he could rescue him, bring Anubis to her, and explain things to her properly so she wouldn't get angry with him. But the situation was completely different now. Suisui was no longer seriously injured, and she would definitely go find Anubis immediately. How would she feel if she discovered Anubis was dead herself, and she was the last to know?

Zongfang thought the same as him, but he had promised Anubis after all. No matter what the relationship between the two was, the loyal man would be punished after his death.
