Chapter 12 Frustration

Shen Yuejin has a refined appearance, is of medium build, and wears a pair of silver-rimmed glasses.

Even though he was smiling, Qin Zhen was still worried, since his transfer order still needed the other party's signature to be released.

"Old Qin, don't worry about the house in Lanqing Town. Tomorrow, take Sui Sui to see my wife. I estimate that it will take at most two or three days to complete the formalities."

Shen Yuejin ignored Qin Zhen's forced smile and turned to look at Qin Suisui.

"Sui Sui, go with your father to see your Aunt Yue tomorrow and ask her to transfer the ownership of your house from your father's name to your name."

He glanced at Qin Zhen's slightly flustered expression and smiled meaningfully.

"Old Qin, you'll have to work hard tomorrow, but all those procedures were noted back then. My Yue Xian is there, so don't worry, it will definitely save you time and effort."

He had known for a long time that Lao Qin didn't care much about Sui Sui, but it was someone else's family matter after all. The child was honest and would never complain. As a company leader, all he could do was visit her every year to express his concern and offer reminders.

When Sui Sui returned, she immediately sought him out. He was surprised but also somewhat gratified, and his offer of help was therefore justified.

Shen Yuejin's words completely blocked Qin Zhen's planned escape route. His face turned ashen, and he forced a smile.

"President Shen, then I'll have to trouble Director Yue tomorrow."

After explaining things clearly, Shen Yuejin didn't stay long before getting up to say goodbye to Xiao Wu and leave.

"Thank you so much, Uncle Shen and Uncle Xiao. You've made a special trip today just for my sake."

Qin Suisui saw them off and stood at the top of the stairs to thank them softly. She was truly grateful to Shen Yuejin. If it weren't for his close supervision over the years, the properties under her name might have been sold by Qin's father at Wang Fang's urging when she was still a minor.

"Little girl, why are you being so polite with your Uncle Shen? If you need anything in the future, just come to me. If I'm not around, you still have your Uncle Xiao."

Xiao Wu responded with a smile.

Shen Yuejin patted Qin Suisui on the shoulder and nodded to Qin Zhen, who was standing behind Suisui.

"Old Qin, don't forget to bring Sui Sui over tomorrow!"

"Hey, hey!"

Qin Zhen nodded repeatedly in agreement, forcing a smile as he watched the two leaders go downstairs.

Only after the two walked out of the building did he give Qin Suisui a cold look.

"Come inside with me!"

Xiao Wu walked out of the building, looked up, and then said with a smile, "Engineer Qin is probably so angry he'll vomit blood right now."

“He deserved it. Sui Sui is a kind-hearted girl who has always kept quiet.”

Shen Yuejin's previous gentle demeanor vanished; his brows furrowed, and his voice betrayed obvious displeasure.

"And his second wife, she looks so shrewd! Her eyes are always on what Sister Hui left behind, as if she thinks no one knows what she's up to!"

He turned to look at Xiao Wu, his eyes darkening: "I'll take this opportunity to hand over the things Sister Hui left behind to Sui Sui. That way, I can give Sister Hui an explanation."

Xiao Wu nodded, squinting as he touched his graying temples.

"The Qin family is going to be lively tonight!"

Qin Zhen entered the house and went straight to the sofa to sit down, coldly looking at her eldest daughter standing to the side.

"You went to see General Manager Shen yesterday?"

"Um!"

Qin Suisui looked calm and had no intention of hiding anything.

“I was worried that Dad wouldn’t have time. I heard that Aunt Yue is in charge of the Housing Bureau in Lanqing Town and knows people there, so it will be easier for us to complete the procedures. What do you think, Dad?”

"I knew it! I said you were great!"

Qin Zhen sneered. Now that things had come to this, he knew he was in a difficult position, and there was no point in saying anything now. Unless he resigned from the petroleum system immediately, he would have to swallow this bitter pill.

His eyes were cold as he waved his hand, rubbing his forehead, and said, "Go back to your room. We'll talk about it tomorrow morning!"

Qin Suisui smiled and nodded, then turned and went into the music room.

After picking up Weiwei, Wang Fang had no intention of going home. She took Weiwei out for a Western meal before leisurely returning home.

Before going to bed after washing up, she learned from Qin Zhen that Shen Yuejin had come to her house that evening to arrange the transfer of ownership. Hearing that the transfer of ownership of the homestead would be processed the next day, she almost broke down.

If Qin Zhen hadn't used threats and intimidation, she would have loved to go to the music room and tear Qin Suisui apart.

Qin Suisui didn't care at all how much the couple made a ruckus in the house. Listening to the faint noise coming from the next room, she smiled, closed her eyes, and slowly fell asleep.

With Shen Yuejin's involvement, the transfer of the homestead in Lanqing Town went exceptionally smoothly. Within two days, the property and the homestead were transferred to Qin Suisui's name.

Even for the property on Nanyang Street, Qin Zhen gritted her teeth and arranged a meeting with the tenant, Qin Suisui, to inform them of the change in the bank account number for rent payments.

In Qin Zhen's heart, although he didn't have much affection for his eldest daughter, she was still his biological daughter, and the property was originally left to her by his ex-wife.

Although he was reluctant to give it to her, he could still bear the difference. However, he had his own plans and promised Wang Fang that all the family's property would have nothing to do with Sui Sui in the future.

Even so, Wang Fang still felt resentful. Because of Qin Zhen's warning, she couldn't directly break off relations, but she didn't give Sui Sui a good look either. For several days in a row, she had a long face and made veiled insults while throwing things around.

Qin Suisui always ignored Wang Fang's deliberate attempts to cause trouble, focusing on handling her trip abroad from early morning to late at night.

Qin Weiwei was extremely cautious, fearing that her mother would take her anger out on her, and for a time the Qin family appeared to be at peace.

The peace was broken when Weiwei's uncle brought her maternal grandparents to the house.
