Chapter 240 Froststone Tribe

Todd sighed and shook his head repeatedly upon hearing this.

Rachel lowered her head, thought for a long time, then suddenly leaned close to Todd and whispered, "I know where these people came from."

Seeing Todd turn his face towards her, Rachel continued, "Do you remember Northstone Fortress? On the night the Knights of Twilight occupied the fortress, a barbarian army mutinied and escaped from the fortress."

Todd suddenly realized: "So that's where the barbarians who escaped that night came from!"

Just as the two were about to discuss it in detail, Fried walked up to Todd with a small iron pot and gestured for him to taste the contents.

Todd peeked inside and saw a small clump of strange weeds in a small pot made of rough iron.

Having been roasted over a fire for a period of time, the moisture in the weeds had evaporated, leaving only shriveled clumps.

Seeing Todd's confused expression, Fried smiled, took a few straws from the small pot, put them in his mouth and chewed them slowly, his expression full of enjoyment and pleasure.

"Could it be drugs..." Todd looked at the contents of the pot, and under the old man's enthusiastic gaze, he reluctantly picked out a stalk of grass, put it in his mouth, and chewed it with a frown.

The initial bitterness gave way to a rich, mellow flavor. The more Todd chewed, the brighter his eyes became. He had tasted this in his previous life; the long-forgotten name was on the tip of his tongue, yet he couldn't quite recall it. This feeling made him incredibly anxious.

Just as he was racking his brains, a name was suddenly called out in unison by the barbarians.

A middle-aged man with light yellow curly hair draped over his shoulders had a long scar running from the corner of his right eye to his ear, and his eyeball reflected the shadow of flames.

He is—'Boyle'.
