Chapter 437 Bloodbath at Lonely Rock City (Part 8)

"Miss Aisha, you've hit her! You've hit her!"

Inside the cramped interior of the keel-hulled warship, the lookout, constantly peering through the holes to survey the battlefield, shouted excitedly.

Seated on the 'throne' constructed of dragon bones, with her back tightly connected to the parasite's nerve ligaments, Aisha showed no sign of relaxation as she urgently asked, "Next enemy, coordinates! Quickly!"

The lookout quickly returned to his post, visually surveying the Imperial ships at sea while using his rangefinder to perform some tense calculations before answering, "South 17, East 39, distance 500 meters. Ship type: Imperial troop transport!"

Aisha's heterochromatic eyes sparkled as she licked her lips and said with a smile, "Hold on tight!"

The keel-bone warship accelerated once more, propelled by small oars on its hull, and sped toward the nearest enemy ship.

The lookout loudly reported the distance between the ships.

"Four hundred meters!"

"Three hundred meters!"

"Two hundred meters!"

"150 meters! The enemy ship is about to enter firing range!"

Aisha shouted, "Port half rudder, three shots on starboard, fire in close bursts at a horizontal angle!"

A loader loaded three missiles containing spore parasites onto the iron launch rails; another launcher, through the launch ports adjusted by the keel, aimed at the enemy ship not far away and tapped the launch switch on the launch rails.

Three parasite missiles separated from the hull, and after a brief pause, the black powder at the tail was ignited and ejected, flying straight toward the target at extremely high speed.

Aisha gripped the keel's handrails with both hands and shouted to everyone in the cabin, "All crew! Beware of impact!"

The keel-shaped warship adjusted its course and swiftly avoided the blast radius.

Seconds later, two of the three spore missiles struck the bulky Imperial transport ship.

A dazzling white light appeared on the sea surface, accompanied by a loud bang, and the keel-bone warship was nearly capsized by the huge impact.

After the chaos subsided, Aisha, having regained her footing, called out again, "Lookout!"

Her assistant, standing beside her, said with a pale face, "Miss Aisha, we have sunk three enemy ships. Whether from the perspective of war results or experimental objectives, we have perfectly achieved our goals, so..."

Aisha, ignoring the incessant chatter of her assistant, simply called out again, "Lookout!!"

The lookout peered through the slit, observed carefully for a moment, and then quickly replied, "The previous target has been confirmed destroyed! Next targets: South 13 and West 12, two Imperial troop transports. Wait... the entire enemy fleet is turning around... they're trying to escape!"

A savage gleam flashed in Aisha's eyes: "Trying to escape from me?! A bunch of idiots!"

The assistant continued earnestly, "Miss Aisha, if we continue the pursuit, we might get surrounded by the enemy. Besides, Lord Wayne said before he left..."

Aisha glanced at her assistant, and several keel parasite limbs suddenly came to life, like living tree roots, tightly binding the nagging assistant to the inner cabin wall and gagging him as well.

Looking at the astonished crew members, Aisha said with a cold smile, "Does anyone have any objections?"

"No, no!"

"very good!"

As the ship accelerated, the keel-hulled warship gradually caught up with the two troop transport ships that were lagging behind.

The same method still applies: three spores are launched from the port side, and three from the starboard side.

To Aisha's surprise, the troop transport ship on the left was sunk, while the spore missile that hit the troop transport ship on the right failed to explode due to a malfunction.

"Chase after it! Get closer to it!"

Under Aisha's control, the keel warship approached within eighty meters of the troop transport ship and launched three more spore missiles.

This time, unsurprisingly, good fortune did not smile upon the Imperial Fleet again.

The troop transport ship was reduced to fragments in the explosion.

"South 6, East 26, 500 meters, enemy patrol ship."

The lookout shouted out a series of mathematical numbers, but found that Aisha did not respond.

After a moment's thought, Aisha ordered, "Abandon other targets and find the enemy's flagship!"

The lookout stared at her in surprise, then quickly resumed reconnaissance and repositioning.

"South 11, East 9, 800 meters, main battleship, enemy flagship!"

Aisha narrowed her eyes slightly: "This is it."

The keel-hulled warship sped past the Empire's fleet, heading straight for the capital ship; the sounds of wind, water, and shouts grew clearer and clearer in Aisha's ears.

Finally, the lookout turned and shouted, "One hundred meters from the enemy flagship!"

Aisha immediately ordered: "Port half rudder, three shots on starboard, horizontal flank!"

The spore missile, trailing a long, fiery tail, hurtled toward the flagship where the Imperial fleet was located.

However, compared to those slow-moving troop transports, the Imperial capital ships have a great advantage in both flexibility and speed.

The capital ship managed to avoid the three incoming missiles by raising its sails, accelerating, and making a sharp turn.

Enraged, Aisha accelerated her ship again, chasing the target to within sixty meters, and launched three more spore missiles.

Perhaps God was really planning to play a little joke on this day, as one of the last three missiles hit the tail of the Imperial flagship... However, this spore missile failed to explode again due to a malfunction.

"Damn it! When I get back, I'm going to hang those ammunition-making bastards on the mast and leave them to bake in the sun for three days and three nights!" Aisha, furious, cursed loudly and waved her arms in the cabin of the keel ship.
