Randall nodded heavily.

Barbara glanced behind her and said sadly, "What should we do next?"

Randall turned around and looked at the thousands of soldiers and civilians gathered in the royal hall. Among them were soldiers covered in wounds, white-haired old people, and innocent children, all of whom were looking at him.

Looking at the Umbrella emblem on his chest, Randall recalled the moment he became a knight, and the oath he had uttered when King Todd walked up to him and placed the longsword on his shoulder.

I swear to Heaven my will: I will not oppress the weak, but live humbly; in every battle I fight, I will not fear the mighty; all that is evil, I will destroy its banner!

He drew his longsword from his waist, raised it above his head, and shouted, "I swear in the name of the Holy King! Fight! I will fight to the very last moment!"

The fire at the inner city gate burned for a full thirteen hours. The fire was so intense that even in the darkness, people dozens of kilometers away could clearly see the flames.

However, the flames will eventually go out.

As dawn broke, the fire gradually died down, and Saladin led his army into the inner city of Lone Rock.

"Throat Bone, lead the Immortal Legion to capture the North Gate! Quickly secure the mountain passes behind the city!"
