An associate professor in life engineering travels to a medieval European fantasy world. Using modern biochemistry, he discovers that viruses, bacteria, and parasites extinct in human history are a...
In the end, it might become the most powerful creature in the history of this world.
what to do?
What should we do now?
What can we do now to stop him?
Todd stared at Cú Chulainn in the arena, his gluttonous appearance devouring everything, when suddenly a thought flashed through his mind.
Wait a minute, if the monster's goal is to eat, then why not just feed it something that can harm it...?
Cú Chulainn's Tyrant form is weak to fire, so perhaps this is an option...
With that thought in mind, Todd flapped his dragon wings and flew swiftly in the direction where the Froststone army had retreated.
About half an hour later, Todd flew to the battlefield, arrived at the plain behind the canyon, and found the Froststone army regrouping on the spot.
Amid the soldiers' kneeling and prayers, Todd walked straight up to Evie.
Evie looked at Todd with delight: "You beat him?"
“Not yet, things have gotten complicated.” Todd bowed his dragon head and said to Evie, “How many spore bombs are left in the army?”
Ivy was taken aback at first, then thought for a moment and said, "There are still seventeen..."
Todd nodded and shouted, "Put them in nets! Bring them all over!"
Because spore parasites are highly explosive, they are stored separately in the Froststone Army. Furthermore, the storage containers are filled with shock-absorbing plant oil, making collection a time-consuming and labor-intensive process.
Just as Todd was anxiously waiting, at the top of the canyon, the soldier responsible for observing the enemy situation suddenly shouted: "Enemy troops have appeared in the distance... wait, it doesn't look like cavalry... God! What the hell is that thing!"
Upon hearing this, Todd flapped his wings and flew to the sky above the canyon, using his Eagle Eye ability to look into the distance.
That one glance almost made him forget to breathe.
On the other side of the battlefield, a monster the size of a small mountain was rapidly approaching the canyon.
This monster has three wolf heads, one large and two small. The largest wolf head is about seven meters tall, and its huge compound eyes are like the eye bubbles of a goldfish, covering the top of its head.
Thousands upon thousands of tentacles sprouted from its body, sweeping away all the corpses and living creatures around it, like an orderly assembly line, quickly feeding them into the wolf's mouth.
Numerous pairs of appendages grew from the underside of its body, resembling the limbs of a centipede.
From a distance, this gigantic monster, whose length exceeds 100 meters, is none other than the tyrant Cú Chulainn!
Just as Todd felt a chill run down his spine, Evie shouted towards the sky, "The spores are all packed!"
Todd glanced at the monster in the distance, turned his body, tightened his dragon wings, and swooped down toward the Froststone army, grabbing the seventeen spore bombs in the net bag with his dragon claws.
Then, he flapped his wings forcefully, flew over the canyon, and sped towards Cú Chulainn.
When he flew over the latter's head, he saw the monster below him, which looked like a mountain of flesh, constantly devouring the corpses on the battlefield.
With little time to consider tactics and gains or losses, Todd adjusted his angle and swooped down, charging headlong toward the wolf's head in the very center of Cú Chulainn.
Relying on his dragon wings and tail, as well as his superhuman speed, Todd constantly adjusted his speed and direction in the air, dodging tentacles that attacked him one after another, and two sharp forelimbs nearly ten meters long, before rushing directly to the wolf's mouth in the very center of Cú Chulainn.
With a powerful swing of his hind legs, Todd threw a net full of spores into Cú Chulainn's mouth. He turned to leave, but the other lunged forward, and hundreds of tentacles bound his body.
Cú Chulainn opened his wolf's mouth and bit down hard on Todd's dragon wing, his sharp teeth piercing through it instantly.
Dragon blood splattered, and the black dragon let out a deafening roar.
Severely injured and unable to fly, Todd watched as the spore parasite rolled down Cú Chulainn's tongue and into his throat. He immediately used his Metal Skin ability to transform his entire dragon armor into metal, giving up his ability to fly and increasing his resistance.
Then, he opened his dragon mouth and struck Cú Chulainn's face with dragon breath containing fire and weakening power.
Once Cú Chulainn's teeth and tentacles loosened slightly, Todd used his hind legs to slam into Cú Chulainn's chin, using the recoil to break free and plummet straight to the ground.
As soon as Todd landed, he immediately plunged his forelimbs into the soil, causing the earth to tremble and the soil to collapse. He used his earth manipulation ability to bury his body directly.
Just as he finished doing all this, a cataclysmic explosion swept across the entire space above his head.
