Chapter 528 The Rise of the Divine Kingdom (Thirteen)

Stepping into the light, entering paradise, the first thing that appears before everyone's eyes is a golden wheat field that stretches as far as the eye can see.

A gentle breeze blows across the wheat fields, and the golden ears of wheat sway gently in the sunlight. Windmills turn and sit on the rolling hills, backed by majestic snow-capped mountains.

In that faraway place, at the end of the golden wheat fields, lies a rolling plain, with pine forests, seas of flowers, and other landscapes, like a stretched emerald carpet extending all the way to the foot of the snow-capped mountains. Coupled with the babbling streams flowing down from the snow-capped mountains, everything here looks breathtakingly beautiful, allowing everyone to put down their worries and sorrows.

Looking at the beautiful scenery before them, some people in the crowd exclaimed in admiration, "I remember we clearly entered a city, so why can't we see city walls or streets here?"

Upon hearing this, Emerson turned back to look in the direction he had come from, but the city gate that had shone with a blinding light had long since vanished without a trace.

Just as people were speculating, the female angel who had led them to the city gate flapped her wings of light and slowly descended from mid-air into the wheat field, saying to the crowd, "Welcome to Heaven, lambs."

Emerson looked at the angel and asked, "Is this the heaven described in the Bible?"

The angel replied, "What you see is only a part of Heaven."

"Heaven is not a city, nor a place," the angel said quietly, looking at the people before him. "It is a boundless space that contains countless worlds."

Most people looked puzzled after hearing the angel's words.

The angel said nothing more, but simply waved his arm, taking the thousands of citizens of Muxi City into the air, allowing them to fly forward while looking down at the earth.

Many of the mortals, who had never flown before, screamed and struggled as they left the ground.

However, after a period of flight, watching the magnificent rivers and mountains and beautiful scenery on the ground rushing and changing beneath them; listening to the whistling wind rushing past their ears, every visitor fell deeply in love with this unforgettable journey.

Hearing the cheers and exclamations of the mortals behind him, the angel led them to a bustling town filled with singing and dancing.

In this town, there was no distinction between nobles and commoners, no difference in wealth between the rich and the poor. Everyone sang and danced, fully enjoying the revelry and boundless joy of the banquet.

The angel pointed to the towns on the ground and nodded, saying, "There are thousands upon thousands of such towns in this world. Every soul that comes here can choose the town they like to live in, without having to suffer from hunger or fear of being harmed. All they need to do is enjoy the pleasure and relaxation they have never experienced in their previous lives."

Feeling the joyful atmosphere of the town and seeing the delicious food and drinks they had never seen before, someone in the crowd asked enviously, "Can I stay and join them?"

The angel nodded: "Of course, that's the visitor's right. But please note that since you are not souls who have passed through judgment, your time here is limited. When the time is up, you will automatically leave Heaven and return to the mortal world."

After saying this, the angel waved his arm and sent those who wanted to stay to the ground.

Then, she led the remaining people and continued flying forward.

After flying for about ten minutes, the group arrived in front of a huge, light blue circular hole in the sky.

"This is the connection point between different worlds. Through here, you can reach other worlds of Heaven."

After saying this, the angel led the visitors of Twilight City into a light blue circular cave. They entered a passageway shimmering with intense light, and when they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in a place unlike any other.

Here, a towering golden tree stands in the center of the world, radiating golden light.

Beneath the golden tree, in the middle of the magnificent river, stand numerous spectacular and splendid palaces and buildings.

Numerous strong, brave, and skilled spirits traverse every corner of this world, holding grand banquets, engaging in various training sessions and games, or lingering amidst countless jewels and riches.

The angel hovered in mid-air, pointed below, and said, "This is another world of Heaven, the birthplace of the gods, also known as Asgard."

Emerson looked closely and recognized several of the heroic spirits; they were all warriors of the North Island Knights who had sacrificed themselves on the night of turmoil.

These warriors of the Northern Island Knights sat at the banquet, loudly discussing their exploits, and occasionally bursting into laughter.

Among the citizens of Twilight City, there was a man from the Northern Island who asked the angel in bewilderment, "I've heard that Asgard is a sacred place in the faith of the gods, so how could it be related to the heaven in the Bible?"

The angel glanced back at him: "Heaven, Holy Land, Divine Realm... different faiths have different names for the highest place. But all paths lead to the same destination; in the end, all gods will be reduced to one."

Upon hearing this, Emerson was startled.

The angel spoke loudly to the others: "Is there any of you who wishes to remain in Asgard for the time being?"

A group of North Islanders immediately stepped out of the line and expressed their desire to stay to the angel.

The angel waved his hand, and the group of people slowly flew towards the golden tree, joining the feast of the heroic spirits.
